We "hung" with them because Harden scored 11 straight points. As good as he is he probably isn't going to do it again anytime soon. Also this team without Chris Bosh was losing 3-2 to the celtics in the playoffs. They are just a "very good" team without him, not elite.

He played like a b**** the entire game. Seriously. You know what their defense is going to do to you every time, they play Lin like its playoffs Game 7. You'd think the coaching staff and Lin would have figured out ways to make it work. It's only his first year, so I guess we can chalk it up to some good experience for him.

    I was close.

An expected game happened. We lost to the champs. That's why they are the best. Lin played like an idiot. Being passive like usual against the heat. Harden just straight up went beast mode. Should have passed two times though at the end there. I had a feeling he was going to go in and get a charged call.

Doesn't matter though. Without harden, this was a blow out.

that was an obvious foul, especially when i saw the replay. If that was Lebron or Wade that would have been 3ft's

Parsons at least has shown in the past that he can make plays and shots in crunch time. This is against the Miami Heat. Parsons deserves to be out there to close the game especially since he didn't even have a bad game.

yet another game where the complete lack of mid range shooting did us in. once the threes dont fall we are lost out there. why not go for some 2s? get some guys going, keep the score closer. sigh....

and where was smith? again aldrich played but not smith? they had success early with asik in the paint. why did they stop? i would have liked to see smith play with bosh being out and all.... sigh....

IJHolmes is by far the worst troll on this forum. King1 has nothing on this guy.

What? lol. All game, I thought Miami controlled the tempo of the game. They were getting good shots while down the stretch, we were relying on Harden to make ridiculous shots.

Harden and Anderson should have passed the ball to an open Lin at least once in the last few minutes. But I guess Lin's struggling early on kinda let him lose his teammate's trust in the end.

I wouldn't call 3-10 fg 13 points 3 assists 2 TOs a "house of horrors." He's had far worse stinkers this season against much worse competition.

    I'm okay with this game.

A lot of charges called that should have been 50/50 at best.

    Wierd rotation by McHale.

Given the Heat's defense, Lebron being on fire, and playing in Miami with home cooking, we took it down to the last minutes after being down 17. That's a pretty solid outing in my books especially knowing we were playing a back to back and the Heat had tons of rest.

Thanks Stern for that whacked out schedule.

As for James Anderson in the last 30s... we really couldn't have left Parsons in for the last minute or two with the game down to 3 points? REALLY?

A good sign. Young and inexperienced team and the Miami Heat playing well and we were still in it to the end. The team fought back all game despite getting in a hole.

While there isn't really such a thing as a moral victory, this is as close as it gets.

Unfortunately our PF's were no shows in terms of rebounding tonight. Morris + PPat = 5 rebounds.

PPat shot well, 15 points on 7/12. Morris was 1/7 ... definitely didn't help.

Could really have used Delfino tonight...

All in all, not too bad.

I just don't understand why refs would favor and go out of their way to help out superstar players. I mean they are already so good. Why bail them out? I am really proud of this team and especially harden for the way he kept us in it and fought through the fouls being called on us. He was insane out there tonight.

Great game by Harden. Didn't expect to win this one. Moving on to Portland.

McHale probably wanted to expose the height advantage we had over them but unfortuantely, lolaldrich.

Not bad for a rebuilding team. In two years this core will be very good.

Parsons should've been out there, no doubt. Ridiculous. He's the one we need to help grow, not Anderson.

That was a good game. No shame in that. Rockets just got beat. Played well, though.
