Very nice to see Marcus Morris standing up for his teammates.

I am also not mad at Jackson. My only comment is why was he pissed of at the Rockets? He should be channeling his anger on his own players. They were the ones who gave us all those open looks and we just happened hit those shots at a high percentage.

That is unsportsmanlike conduct by the Warriors and they should be fined just to make a statement. Just have them play defense mr. Jackson. Glad he is pissed, shows we got under his skin!

Honestly besides the flagrant foul on Beverly, I really don't have a problem with what Mark Jackson was doing, and I doubt Jackson told him to grab his neck like that, I think the player did it on his own out of frustration. We're all Rocket fans so of course we're gonna defend our team, but we were launching 3's left and right, desperately trying to break the record.

As one poster said, if the Warriors were the ones doing it to us, we wouldn't have had any problem if McHale told our players to intentionally foul.

I can't decide if I disagree with that Mark Jackson did to take away the 3 point record out of spite or when George Carl sat his entire team to give away the assist record.

I have no problem with what Mark Jackson did, and I also have no problem with the way the Rockets reacted. Flagrantly fouling a 3-pt shooter was over the line, and Marcus Morris let the Warriors know he wasn't a fan of it. Now, for Jackson to be b****ing AFTER the fact is comical, and for Bogut to call us ***** is downright idiotic. The Rockets did nothing here but play the game. Did they want the record? You bet your ass. It was GSW's defense that allowed them to even TIE the record in the first place. Don't get all pissy because you felt disrespected. What was disrespectful was bringing that trash defense into the Toyota Center in the first place.

From the words of Bill Worrell, "Mark Jackson played for us in his last year. During that year his three point field goal was 17%. So he was just mad because he can't shoot!"

    Made me lol.

I would be angry at my team for giving up 140 pts. By that point its too late to decide to have a backbone.

Calvin Murphy ranted about the Golden State game controversy before tonight's game against Miami. Interesting take.

who is this calvin murphy fellow and what does he know about basketball. i think he just got influenced by logging on to the internetz ( i completely agree with him.)
What's not being mention(heard it on the radio pregame) is that mchale tells his players that go in during blowouts to play as if the score is zero to zero because they're not the only ones watching, other 29 teams are also watching. Mchale and Jackson met at halfcourt talked and jackson still took it personal.

I was happy to see Mchale stand up for his team. Don't you guys think, the events which occurred made this team even closer and showed that they have a fight in them? I think the rockets just got better from the event which took place. (Closer together as a team)

    Yeah. Totally agree with Calvin.

    1. If the Rockets wanted to run up the score, why did they sit the starters?

    2. What do you expect the bench players do? Just give up so not to hurt the other team's feeling?

    3. Fouling stopped the clock and actually let the Rockets score more, further embarrassing themselves.

His definition of "OLD SCHOOL" was on point... Let me try to stop you from scoring.. Not hurt you while you trying to score..

I suppose that's a reasonable stance, but I still think it was a b**** move by the Warriors, and ultimately it was an illogical one when you think about it.

No one is going to remember the team that gave up the record, they're only going to remember the team that got the record if it happened quietly... but since the Warriors were being such babies, they ended up actually making their loss more memorable than it otherwise would have been. I've already seen so many NBA fans (not even Rockets fans) calling them childish and sore losers for the way they handled this. This loss will be remembered in infamy far more than it would have if they just let Houston try to take that 24th three...

Those of you feeling sorry for the Warriors/Mark, gtfo. The fans pay to watch the game. We don't want to see free throw after free throw. Second, the Rockets took out their starters half way through the fourth. The record thing just happened. Third, the guys at the end of the bench are trying to gain experience by playing their game. The three is what the Rockets live by, so that's what they practice. Taking away their chance to prove themselves is disrespectful to them, the coaching staff, and the fans who want to see them play (especially the ones who didn't leave a 30 point blowout).

Mark only made himself look worse. If he can't stop a bunch of scrubs from scoring a three with two minutes left in the game then he is a hack of a coach. Anyone can tell their players to step up and make sure they don't knock down a three otherwise they will be remembered as the guy who got the NBA three point record set on. If that doesn't get a player fired up then nothing will.

Screw these fake fans, and screw Mark Jackson.

I love how BSPN mentions it as a franchise record and not the NBA record. They want to discuss it without giving the Rockets recognition the recognition they deserve.
