Lin can't handle trapping and doubling. Why's everyone so surprised?

Miami is playing really good defense, consistently with 3 guys in deep paint, or two guys swarming Lin, either at the top of the Key, or when he tries to drive the lane.

1 rebound by Rockets forwards. Harden cannot guard Wade without some help.

the league should really use this as a template on how to guard Lin...they really know how to get to him and take him out of comfort zone.

The scary thing is that McHale is probably going to confuse us all and play Lin even more in the 2nd half.

He's always going to make the wrong decisions...

Heat knows that Lin does not have good handles in traffic, so they are trapping him from the blindside and suffocating him.

    Heat has Lin figured out.

The bigger concern is that the teams will be scouting Lin during the playoffs and using the same tactics that the Heat is using.

Honestly, I dont have much confidence in Lin's dribbling under pressure and in heavy traffic.

Yep. Just can't rely on him against the Heat. The Heat's eyes light up when they play against Lin. I'd say they kick their game up a few notches to make the humiliation even nastier than usual.

Miami is going after turnovers from Lin by trapping him from behind at every opportunity and it's working.

then he has to unsticky that ball fast. This game is importante. and what's the sense of having your least defensive player guarding lebron. let harden sit on battier.

Holy crap, just got back. Base on the last few pages, Lin is getting destroyed?

Can anyone elaborate what the heck is going on?

That wasn't Cole that initiated the turnover, it was Wade who came in on the help side on the trap.

And he fouled Lin (swiped his arms) while going for the grab.

However, you're almost never going to get that foul call in Miami against the Heat. It's just something you can't do that much about as 29 other teams fan bases will be happy to confirm.

Beating the Heat in Miami is always uphill. I don't think I've ever seen a visiting team (superstars or not) get the benefit of the calls. This allows them to play extremely physical pressure defense.

It's not an accident that Lebron went literally weeks without a single foul call...
