    1. No thanks. I don't like Lebron. Aside from not liking him, it'd be too costly to not pursue other options to hold out the slim hope of getting him, so it'd also be unwise. I suppose if Morey keeps getting cockblocked for a season and a half on getting his second star and he still has the flexibility when Lebron hits the market, then it'd make sense. But, I still don't really want him on the team.

    2. Why the hell would he go back to Cleveland? I heard the 'feelers' story, but I'm not buying that at all. If he leaves Miami, it'll be for New York, LA, or Chicago. He's not going to sign with a rust-belt town.

If Lebron said, today he wants to go to Huston in 2014. There goes Harden, Lin, Parsons.

The guy is arguably the greatest athlete of all time. He has at least 5 years left in him.

There's no question. You would be an idiot not to want the best player in the world on your team no matter what the cost. He will get you wins /thread

If Lebron would be willing to join the Rockets, and you said no to him, you are without question one of the dumbest individuals in the world.

Lin is a much better small forward than Lebron by 2014, you can mark that in your book.

Are you serious? This guy is the best player in the NBA today and you don't want him because you don't like him? Good thing you're not a GM.

If I was a GM, I'd have to behave differently. But, I'm not so I can do and feel as I please. As a fan, I don't w**** out to whoever can give the team the most wins. What does it matter that the Rockets win, if I don't like who the Rockets are? I won't be cheering them.

Well I can't argue that. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.

Greatest athlete of all time is probably Wilt, although LeBron is a physical monster.

It doesn't matter how great of a player Harden will be or the best case scenario, Lebron would never even consider Houston a possibility at all.

It's possible, I saw Harden talking to LeBron at the end of the game. If we get Dwight, and Miami doesn't win another ring LeBron might panic and be desperate to win another title so that's when we acquire him.

What don't you like about Lebron? His charity work? The fact that he openly said he took less money in order to win a championship? The fact that he's a family man? The fact that he's the best player on the planet right now?

Or are you REALLY still hung up on The Decision?

C'mon...that's ridiculous. Lebron's a great dude and a great basketball player. If you honestly don't want him on the Rockets because you don't "like" him, that's just silly.

The Cavs had him for 7 years and didn't win a thing.

If getting him is even a possibility, we would have to see who we can put together with him. And don't forget he'll be in the West, which has much tougher competition.

Now I'm not saying a GM shouldn't try to get him, but it's also important to understand what you have to give up.

If by some miracle Lebron opts out of his contract and by some miracle wants to sign with Houston... DO IT.
