op is very transparant and redundant. putting down every other player in the league, especially pg's, not named lin.

Toughness is a necessity in sports. For proof just look at the Texans, they lost their enforcer and verbal leader in Cushing, and I think we know how the rest went. If you look at the great winning players, they all had an edge: MJ, Bird, Kobe, etc. We need that edge to be successful.

Mad man love for the V Maxwell, I once yelled at Vernon to play D on Micheal Cooper and he told me to "shut the F up". I saw him at the club (Oasis - Westpark/Gessner) and we squashed it. He said "man the coaches already get on me I don't need you doing same" I said "Max he was lighting you up and I wasn't use to seeing that". After that we were good, plus being a Gator didn't hurt.

He brings the fire no doubt about it. I hope he continues to improve. I can't to see what happens in Oakland next Tuesday when Beverley gets some minutes.

I was just about to post:

"Man, have you seen this guy? What a temper. I mean the Spurs gave him up for cash...FOR CASH!!! Huge ego on this guy for being such a nothing player. Do not want!!!"

Nothing wrong with trash talking. If it gets into the opponents head then that's good for us!!

Max was straight up crazy(even crazier than Artest). He just had a calm period with the Rockets. The dude tried to knock his own teammate out with a dumbbell.

Beverly seems like a vocal leader type. If he continues to shoot well and we keep him, I see him turning in the an Avery Johnson type.

bev acted like a punk; there's nothing hard-nosed about the taunt after the dunk (by the way, the hard foul to the face happened AFTER Bev taunted GSW bench).

he wasn't standing up for himself or for anybody - he went in for a nice dunk, got excited, and taunted the GSW bench and got T'ed. all this with a 30pt lead. again, nothing hard-nosed or "tough" about it. heck, if it was back in the 80's he would been taken out by the GSW bench after doing that and be on a stretcher.

he acted like a punk but, a young dude getting some highlight minutes - i guess you kinda expect that.

and the whole team celebrating like they've just won the championships after that dunk? embarrassing.

if you want to be taken seriously, act like you've been there before. oh well, young team - they'll learn. this is teaching moment for mchale; hope he took advantage of it.

^ Maybe, but rather have 3 string players try and treat their minutes seriously rather than just dick around.
    +1 Beverley
