Anyone else concerned about how bad our bench was vs the Warrior bench?

Anderson had an ok game as a replacement for Delfino. Would like to see more of him.

Smith has not played well for a few games now. Morris has been mediocre at best for several games as well.

Lilliard was not "torching" Lin in those games until the end of the game during overtime when Lin was helping out on Aldridge, in line with our defensive philosophy. THAT is why it's frustrating. People see that TD has better defense, when it's not true most of the time. It's almost laughable how bad Lin is thought to be defensively by 95% of NBA fans. They just can't see what is right in front of them cuz they're so certain that Linsanity was just a figment of NY's imagination. A David Stern creation. Literally, he would drive by their guards all game, their guard would do it to Lin once, and they'd say "see, Lin can't guard dude. What a scrub. He's so overrated. He's so overpaid!"

I know you're not sold on Lin yet, but he's getting there. Give him some time and don't mind the r****ded comments made by Lin fans so much. Lin's a Rocket and deserves support from Rockets' fans even if the whole world thinks he's a fluke.

Superstar, you make some awesome comments sometimes, but I think you're too caught up in the r****ded comments made by some Lin fans. It was a great game, don't let r****ded comments get to you.

We're gonna go to Miami, and repeat what we did today. I believe!
    Go Rockets!

    Ahh, there you are.

Do I have to post tweets of Lin haters like you to show you that there are r****ds everywhere on these internetz. Yes, they're fools. Congrats. You sure have an eye for catching idiots.

BTW, I'm glad that Steph didn't score 30+ and rip Lin a new one like you were saying. Way to anti-jinx our team. Thanks, appreciate it. Please go ahead and do it again for tomorrow's game. I know you're itching to say that it was just "one" game and that Miami's gonna embarrass him like they did last year, and that Chalmers is gonna make him look like a fool. That's one way to cheer on the Rockets, I guess..

I already explained it in my post after before the game but guess I'll have to do it again.

First those idiots are representative of some posters on this forum. As for my post.

    1. I was trolling LOFs like the idiots above
    2. I thought Lin's safety defense would burn him this game, but guess what? He actually stayed on his man this game, good job, he proved me wrong.

The Portland game was close in spite of Lillard's high scoring. Just because Kemba Walker scored 30 points they still lost. Lin had 11 points and 11 dimes and was running the offense. When they took him out of the game, well, you know the rest of the story. Look at the +/- for today, you'll know what I'm talking about.

Did you even watch both games? Lillard started heating up late in the 3rd in both games. Also, both games were while Lin was obviously getting back to basketball shape from his injuries.

Finally, Lin's defense is substandard: I've seen enough of Jose Calderon getting career numbers on him to confirm this.

You can split hairs all you want about his defensive ability vs TD's, but a healthy TD was the right call defensively late in both games at the time especially considering Lin was still in the process of getting his legs back.

I agree. I think the Warriors were frustrated they were getting blown out, but I think they crossed the line, especially with the flagrant against Beverley.

Kudos to Anderson for taking advantage of his chance.

    Wow 140 points.

Maybe not the best, but certianly top 5. The talent is there just he has to start translating more often then not on the court.

I do understand what you're doing. I do, but it doesn't help that you're continually perpetuating it. Leave idiot comments alone and they'll stop eventually.

The Spurs had a tough choice of waiving Anderson or Decolo so they chose Anderson. Otherwise if they had a choice they wouldnt hae waived him. He has alot of talent. He is only young as well.

Was it me or was the arc on Lin's jumper much higher tonight? Similar to last season?

Yes, I watch every Rocket's game at least twice without exception.
And I disagree. Lin is not, and has not been a "substandard" defender. Your eyes are seeing things your mind believes, in my opinion. And yes, I saw Calderon torch Lin. I've seen him have an even tougher outing against Parker who was yoyo-ing Lin to death. But I've seen him play above average defense to excellent defense many many more instances. And no, Lin is not the only one that has a hard time defending pgs. Case in point, how often do we see Lin penetrate in a game. Most guards can't keep Lin in front of them as well.

I've noticed in games where he shoots well the arc is always much higher. When he shoots flatter he tends to brick a lot more. Not sure if it's a conscious decision or what but he needs to keep his arc high to shoot well.
