Agreed, he's not ready, but remember people said Obama wasn't ready to take on Hilary either. I think Rubio should have the advantage in terms of fundraising which should help him through the primaries. The GOP has nominated old bitter white men in '08 and '12 and were not able to expand the base. The reason Bush was successful was that he attracted enough Hispanic voters to swing the vote in his favor (barely). I think the GOP will revert back to a minority friendly strategy in 2016 and put the support behind Rubio. Another McCain/Romney type old whitebread candidate is going to get smoked in 2016.
Her sec of state tenure didn't rock any waves and she ended up having higher approval ratings. It's similar to her Senate career where she made the correct political moves without alienating anyone. If she rests easy and stays fit for the next three years to prep for a draining prez tenure, I'd totally support her running for prez. Seems like age is the only thing against her.

So again, explain how Rice got to be Secretary of State? She had a confirmation hearing as well. This "racial/gender" bias meme has gotten completely ridiculous. Its just dirty politics democrat style.
Hillary aged so much just during her tenure as S.O.S. Imagine what a 4 year presidency wouldve done??
I'd imagine the same thing was said in 2006. 'Who would ruin against Cinton in 08?'. Wow it's hard to imagine that 10 years later she still could run for president at her age.
I would think Hillary would be a solid contender in 2016, even at her age. While I wasn't a big fan in 2008, you have to admire her successes as Senator and SoS. The next tier of candidates are all a bit young, inexperienced, and less known, but would be ready for VP candidates and/or 2020 and beyond: Julian Castro - Mayor of San Antonio, spotlight at Convention. Would be perfect as VP under Hillary. That would extend the Democrat hold on the Presidency for a few more terms. Kirsten Gillibrand - NY Senator, successful, popular, attractive Elizabeth Warren - MA Senator, smart, some fallout from campaign Cory Booker - Mayor of Newark. Would also benefit from time on a national stage, could also be a good possibility as VP. Andrew Cuomo, NY Governor, dad was always in the spotlight. Rahm Emmanuel - Mayor of Chicago. Politically savvy and goes for the jugular. It would be fun to see him run on a national stage again. And few more known candidates: Deval Patrick - Governor of MA. Friend of Obama. Mark Warner - ex Gov and current VA Senator. Popular moderate. Brian Schweitzer - MT Governor, popular Democrat in a GOP state
Montana is by no means a GOP state. Both Senators are re-elected DEMS...Baucus since the mid 1970's. Obama damn near won the state in 2008. More like a 50/50 state.
He did not run because he refused to subject his kids to indefinite secret service. This has been well documented. One poll had him at a 94% favorable rating. 94%.
