Context... Beverly... Lebron??? Answer me this question, have players on the level, or at least close to the level, of Jordan, Dream, Kobe, Magic, Chamberlain, AI, etc., have the right to stare anyone down like that at the end of a blowout game? I don't even think Lebron did that! But with that being said, it is good to have someone with that attitude on the team full of youngins.
yea the staredown/taunting at the end of a blowout game was a little much, but whatever...like someone else said in this thread...i'm willing to look the other way
The taunt was pretty ironic... scoring a 2 after being given a wide open path to the basket (because they were hell bent on stopping the three) is not really the epitome of basketball play... He's like a more hyper Rafer that can actually dunk. I'm not totally against it, although it is going to cause teams to have unnecessary beef with us, which will be problematic.
Does this guy even make enough to cover his technical fines? I'm wondering who's flipping the $5k every time.
i like beverly. he cheers on the team from the bench and is animated. brings a lot of energy and plays hard. makes the most of his minutes. he grind his way to make it to the league. im pretty sure the coaching staff and our "vet" (whoever that may be) will pull him aside and say that's not what we do.
The stare was wrong whatever the score-- that's why you get technical fouls for those. He will learn soon enough. The fines matter when you are making the minimum. Nice dunk, though.
Dude got a dunk. And I'm pretty sure he won't get one for a while. He was hyped up after that dunk. I like it.
I like the attitude of Morris and Beverly but he was wrong for taunting the GS bench tonight. I don't blame them at all for knocking him on his ass that's what he needed. I was glad to see Morris took up for him anyway whether he was right or wrong.
LOL 1 star for a reason. Mr Beverley imo though classless was right in the act. I said it in another thread, he Dunked and Taunted for a reason. They was acting like childish b****es. I mean no other player was near the basket. Hes like "WOW, ok i get it you dont want us getting a three fine! How about a DUNK IN YOUR FACE. You guys going to play D or cry about every damn thing. COME AT ME BRO!
I think the attitude that truly matters is towards the team. He seems to have a really good attitude in that respect. He always jumps of the bench and cheers, runs out and tells players good job during time outs. I mean look at Ray Lewis, he kills people, but has strong leadership so its ok
