It wasn't very entertaining I'll give you that, but I'm sure the young ones will remember that for the rest of their lives. ................ ................ ................
I didn't really notice the half-time show with my awesome club seats! But it was a bunch of kids dressed up marching around. Was dumb, didn't watch it for more than 2 seconds.

does anyone else feel like the Toyota Center vibe is a little... fruity? lol the music and shows are just kinda fruity IMO

the experience needs to be "darker" .. more dark. Dunno how else to explain. They could be really ballsy and darken the crowd like BKN and LAL.. yeah Houston isn't a celeb city but I think the city would love it. Its cool so just do it I say. Then they couldnt do their gay kiss cam and stuff. Good lol the music needs to be redone as theres way too much 'clubby' music playing. It just doesnt fit basketball. At all. basketball needs some heavier music. they could bring the classic nba arena organ back. make it a classic experience with new music played on the organ along with some classic melodies.
The halftimes in general are terrible. I think the whole atmosphere at the Toyota Center feels cheap. I really wish the game day even coordinators would tone down the cheese and class up the joint. Ticket prices are out the roof, I don't need to see people try to plug cords into fake sockets. Keep the entertainment basketball related, half court shots and free throw contest type of things. Anything else belongs in the circus and just isn't fun or necessary.
Lol. I paid $28 for club seats. I knew the Rockets were going to cover the spread, so I'm glad I agreed to go to this game. The music sucks, and I'm sure the Rockets players are used to it by now. The Rowdies started chanting Landry's name which was cool. They stopped after the dead ball ended...or maybe because he noticed them and they didn't want him to start playing with energy (which he started doing, but stopped because it was a blowout.)
overall right now I'd say they're trying to be too top-pop-100s with the atmosphere. It might look good and really does just satisfy most people's expectations for an arena game experience. but I feel it just lacks class at times and really is tacky. They could retain some elements of that but re-do it all and really make it the rockets own
