She'd be 70. Not happening. And there is no soft support for her among moderate Republicans. They hate her. Nor is she very likeable. She's like John McCain in a dress. And she's too connected to Wall Street, too far right on economic issues. I could go on, but why bother.

While the image did raise an eyebrow, and is insensitive - I am not so sure I'd have liked to see it taken down.

It's clearly a political ad and while the admins have every right to take down content as they choose, I am not sure I am comfortable with suppressing the political statement being made despite the fact I strongly disagree with both the statement and the way the point is being made.

She's the liberal Ronald Reagan, in that she's inaccurately symbolic of idealized bygone eras and endangered archetypes. Reagan was, in the wake of the '60s and '70s, a self-made, productive, ruggedly-individualistic cowboy and family man who would fight for his country in a time of war. Hillary is a pre-Britney metaphor for the rise of feminism, professional women and soccer moms.

Remember back in the day when Dick Cheney called her a Marxist?

Isn't it weird how whenever a woman or a minority is considered divisive someone else always plays the race card?
Well, 53 million americans said no, so I wouldn't act like he's "beloved".

And just so its clear, I don't think much of Bush's presidency either cause of his divisiveness.

Given how there is practically nothing on that site except for it's name, a picture of Hillary and a contact form I am not sure how much can be read into it. It is fairly easy to set up a website, especially a bare bones one, so I don't think it can be considered as a serious sign that she will run.

If Marco Rubio tempers the Republican platform on social issues like gay marriage, abortion, immigration, etc. he's going to fare well in the next election and stands a good chance at beating Hillary.

That said, after primary season, I expect Rubio to go full Romney on social issues and have the R platform shoved down his throat during the national.

Ok, we can pretend it's not about race/gender, if you like. I still think it's silly to blame Obama for being "divisive" given how irrational the vitriol from his opponents has been.

Not really the Tea Party type crazies are losing popularity. He has a lot of Sara Palin/ Vince Ryan baggage.

Only 3% of Hispanics are Cubans. His name alone won't do it.

He might lose as many nativist GOP types as he gains from conservative Cubans and unaware Mexicans.

2016 is a long time away. Let's look at this again in the second half of 2015.

My feeling is that she is not running. She'll be too old. President Grandma will not be clikcing for most people.

Yes, I had a crappy day and posted an incredibly tasteless photo. Apologies to all.

Rubio hasn't come close to proving he can withstand the scrutiny of a drawn out primary, much less a general election. Like someone already said, being Cuban won't guarantee Hispanic votes. I doubt he has the savvy to walk the tightrope between non-Cuban Hispanic and anti-immigrants voters.

If Republicans want to win, they would do better selecting a governor and have Rubio as a running mate.

You guys that think a lot of Rubio, tell me what I'm missing. I just don't see it. He comes off like a complete amateur who is being thrust into something he's not prepared for (i.e, a vicious two-year campaign with no mercy).

They like him because he is a conservative Hispanic. The assumption is that Mexicans (never mind he is Cuban) are more willing to leave the Dem party and vote for a Republican Hispanic. Conservatives think that minorities do not vote based on their values but just their ethnicity.

The Republicans have only won the popular vote once since 1988 and it took a freaking attack on our soil to do it. Unless the they do something big to be more inclusive, they are done in regards to the presidential election.

If she wants to run, she'll win. Simple as that.

Explain Condoleeza Rice if conservatives have issues with race/gender?

If Obama had similar policy positions to her, would conservatives be galvanized against him? Of course not.

Think deeper. Its about policy and leadership style. It works for you but many are put off by him and by definition, that makes him divisive.

If Condoleeza Rice ran for office today, Conservatives would unleash a hatchet job on her the way they have with Chuck Hagel. She's way too moderate compared to the loony toons that the GOP is parading out there today. And in addition to attacks on her policy, there might be some racial and sexist attacks thrown at her as well were she to run for president.
