Yes, you would get no arguments from the fans.

Lin's gone up with all of the mentioned players, except CP3 and Curry, and have stood toe to toe with them. Contrary to what people think, Lin can handle his own with the best.

Search jeremy lin show vs cavs ( knicks vs cavs) and watch how lin destroyed Irving. What I am saying is that your comparison is biased. You have to compare each player's defense and offense, impact of them on other players in their team and also TEAM defense and offense.

I'm biased.. But of course, NONE OF YOU ARE... LOL.. and Curry is putting up ALL STAR numbers. This guy is shooting lights out and making big plays when they count. MVP for the Warriors...

How about making Irving the 3rd choice of Cav,how about handing ball over to their SG and waiting in the corner all the time due to f**king stupid coaching, how about being benched for making few TOs and watching things screwed up at crucial moment. It's not fair to compare all the "big names" you've mentioned to Jeremy with different situation.Dare Mcfail to bench Lin a whole game since he's not fond of there being a "Ture" PG to run offense for the team? and then let's see what'll happen. I'm wondering if Mcfail wanna build a Houton Lakers? But we've got no Kobe Bryant,Paul Gasol,Andrew Bynum.Surely,Lin can play Derek Fisher way,But,obviously Mcfail is not Phil J.

dooste aziz I know Curry is an amazing player but that doesn't mean because he is great Lin would have a bad game. It is better to analyse all the factors in a game that could lead to bad game by one player rather than saying that, because Curry is the best, Lin would be destroyed.

for some reason lin's defense has improved dramatically over the course of the last few games. I would say that his defense looks solid and consistent now. Fingers still crossed on his offense.
Good things happens when he grabs a rebound or steal for the fast break

Your hate towards Lin is laughable, Iverson? Unfortunately both Irving and Lin combined wouldn't be able to handle a prime iverson's jock strap.

You posted a highlight reel of Irving destroying the thunders to make a point, good video, your point? Not so much. I can post Lin vs Mavs video to prove a point too, at least Marion and Kidd are better defenders than Westbrook. Drained a three in front of Durant's face? Sure, back to back threes drained by Lin in front of Dirk and Marion.

Listen, no one is arguing Irving is the better player, but Lin has proven track record that he can hold his own against good competition.

Great players don't get a ring...why? Because bb is a team sport...it's not about player A versus player B, but team A versus team B. It's always funny when people keep bringing up this player A will destroy player B, especially when you are talking about basketball where the greatest defense is TEAM defense.

    /Agree

Remember when Felton decided that he wanted to go 1 on 1 with Lin in NYC to prove a point? Yea... that is what happens when you don't play as a team in a team oriented game...

You make excellent points, but, maybe it's just me, but I think Irving can definitely reach AI's level.

I don't care if he's 18 or 81. His obsession of Lin is stupid. In another thread where someone was arguing Bledsoe is not a starting PG, Shayan also chimed in asking about OP's opinion on Lin. He either hates or loves Lin too much that all letters on the keyboard must read either L I or N.

I actually think Irving can be better than Iverson in his prime, he's already a better shooter.

Btw prime Iverson is scarily good.
