Her advantages in traditionally Republican demographics could make her a landslide candidate. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2013/02/03/hillary-clinton-in-2016-be-afraid-republicans.html
Wait....whoa there mother effer. You're telling me she'd have a shot at carrying TEXAS? Man, I have a very difficult time believing that.
The article mentions that she's polling well there right now. While this certainly doesn't mean she will carry Texas, it may indicate that she is more appealing to the white/Southern vote than most other democrats.
Really? Please elaborate. To be clear, I am not patronizing you, I just haven't heard terrible things about her.
The Republicans will have their work cut out for them if she runs. They'll need someone like Marco Rubio to have a fantastic campaign to have a shot. If the Republicans can find a pro-Immigration (like actually pro-Immigration on the contraversial issues) candidate, and someone who will stay the hell away from the Republican platform social policies (abortion/gay marriage), they might be able to put up a fight, but it's hard to see that type of candidate coming out of the Rephblican primary.
It is 3-4 years away, MANY things can change and will. Look at Colin Powell, he looked unbeatable at one point. She is very bright, and has more connections than anyone since LBJ. Her husband is a huge asset, you saw how he helped Obama... can you imagine with Hilary? He would be shoot his thigh with crystal meth and campaign 24/7 for months on end, surviving on Taco Bell and ample amounts of drugs and prostitutes.
Eh it's all perspective I guess. Every time I see her talk she says or does something that bothers me, like this. I also like the fact that there seems to be such a strong distaste for her. Sounds about right. I don't know which side I want to lose more. I don't really have a horse in this race, though I will keep an eye on Rand Paul. I wouldn't vote for the guy, but outside of him I don't know of any potential 2016 candidate that would be more pro-peace.
Might could be a name recognition thing at this point. A lot of Texans probably don't know who McConnell and Rand Paul are. Not that those guys will do any better on closer inspection, but still.
Biggest thing going against her will be 8 years of Barack Obama. Tough for one party to win 3 straight elections.
She's gonna have a tough time beating Jeb Bush. Either way, we'll end up with a Bush or Clinton again.
THis. This is speculation on my part but I get the feeling that she probably won't even run. Given her health issues and her age I am thinking that she might not want to go through the grind of fundraising and campaigning again.
ok...first youre telling me that a black is president...and right after that we are going to elect a female? You kidding brah?
The republicans are scared s**hless or her. The so called "Benghazi investigation" is a prime example of them trying to discredit her.
There are many ugly things I have seen on the internet, but this is just really wrong, I'm surprised nobody has said anything. Regardless of who you think is at fault, this is just classless and a completely disrespectful to the deceased ambassador. I hope this gets taken down.
Disrespect would be ignoring the ambassador's request for more defense and not coming to his aid while he was under attack for 7-8 hours.
Even if I were to concede to your point, like I said, doesn't matter which side of the fence you are on, that picture is still really disrespectful. In order to get a jab at Obama it is not necessary to post an image of him being handled like a rag doll. There is a just an expected amount of decency that comes with posting pictures.
