I thought Delfino was our catch and shoot guy as well as Morris

They're not as good as Redick. Not even close. Redick is consistent. Those guys are streaky.

J.J. Redick has a better career shooting average than Delfino and plus he is averaging 15 points a game compared to Delfino's 10.

And by the way, who said they would have to replace him with Delfino..???
Redick would be an upgrade for Douglas.

Clips get KG and aldrich, celtics 1st
    Celtics get butler, patterson, lin
    Hawks get morris, jordan, white
    Rockets get Horford, bledsoe

Clips get KG for a low price
Celtics get harvard almuni jeremy lin and some solid pieces for their rotation
Hawks get great pieces along with a top blocker in jordan
Rockets get an athletic pg and a solid PF

Then celtics flip pierce to lakers for gasol
Hawks can use morris at PF and move smith to SF
Barnes can start now for the clips
Houston practically is q top 6 team in the west now

So we give up only Lin Patterson white and Morris and receive Bledsoe and Horford? Yeah not going to happen.

You guys will probably kill me for this but, I think Green from the Celtics could reallly help us at the 4. He has played with Harden and he is always Dunking on somebody. His athelticism with Harden and Lin throwing him Lobs would be a boost we need. Just a thought.

IMO. No to Green. He is inconsistent and overpaid.

Jeff Green isn't a very good basketball player and is grossly overpaid. Please refer to Post #1988 in this thread for a list of the worst contracts in the league. Green is on this list. 0% chance that Houston will kick the tires on a Jeff Green trade. Danny Ainge made some critical errors when he gave unnecessarily large multiyear contracts to veteran role players such as Green, Brandon Bass, Courtney Lee, and Jason Terry, and these errors have really tied that organization's hands.

Word around the Twitter-verse is that we're interested in Danny Granger. I personally don't want him, but what do y'all think a deal might be?

Maybe a Parsons + T Jones swap for Granger and a pick?

Or maybe snag him at a discount because of his derailed season due to injury.

the Rockets' interest in Granger doesn't make much sense to me.
maybe next year -- as long as you add someone like Millsap in the meantime.
if you add Granger now, you kill your cap space and you still have just a 1st round team at best.
So I wouldn't do that deal for the Rockets right now...

As for the Pacers.. It's ok-ish. Fairly reasonable. I think I'd rather keep Granger though...

Re Patterson / Delfino idea... Well, Granger will likely have more great games in a year than those two guys in their whole careers, so i'd hate that one.

Donnie Walsh was on Sheridan Hoops last week - he made it pretty clear he'd prefer to keep Granger for at least this year. Unless there's an offer that blows him away, Walsh is going to keep Granger.

UTA out: Millsap, Burks, Mo Will
UTA in: Lin, Patterson, C.Butler, LAC 1st, HOU filler?

    LAC out: Bledsoe, C.Butler, 2013 1st, G.Hill
LAC in: Parsons, Mo Will, Burks

HOU out: Parsons, Lin, Patterson, filler?
    HOU in: Bledsoe, Millsap, G.Hill

Then we could trade for a starting 3 who can shoot. Say Morris/Aldrich/2nd for Korver?

    Asik
    Millsap
    Korver
    Harden
    Bledsoe

Pat Patterson OR Marcus Morris & 2nd round pick
    ...For..
    Evan Fournier & Jordan Hamilton

Patterson (would fit nicely in Denver - spacing, pick and roll /pop, post-up, if not asked to be a option - but still a soild player) OR Morris (Danny Manning meets Mo Taylor) plus a pick - for - two youngsters that can't get in Coach Karl's rotation but show some promise (3pt shooting).

Houston has to many power forwards - Denver to many wings.

That's what almost EVERY GM would say in public about EVERY PLAYER rumored to be available on his roster. Nobody is going to admit he's shopping one of his player unless the situation has become publicly strained (Bargnani, for example)

Wojnarowski agrees - Pacers are going to keep Granger. Said he won't be moved before this deadline.
