Risk aversion over winning. You think he cares like some fanatics? You think he cares like Jerry Jones? I'm not arguing that Jones' model is better. I am arguing that the passion is not the same and doesn't trump his loyalty to comfort. Same with Kubiak, when he was forced to hire Wade. The loyalty permeates at all levels. See Marciano. Of course he wants they all want to win, but they are all loyal to their staff to a fault. Kubiak, Frank Bush, Marciano..

Anyhow, I was one of the few who actually liked Jacoby. I thought his speed was a legit weapon and pointed out specific plays where he stepped up when AJ was out, like the Baltimore regular season loss of last year.

A lot of this is just stupid hyperbole on my part, but legit frustration due to an overcommitment to Marciano to the detriment of the team. Pittsburgh just hired Danny Smith, one of the most respected ST coaches around. It's time to make moves.

 

Hey look... Steve Tasker... a great kick returner who went to multiple Pro Bowls after the Oilers waived him, if I recall. This Houston tradition is a long one.

Well he did suck ass last year and played a huge factor in that loss against the Ravens last year.
