The only plausible reason would be that the Hawks would want a player in return that is ready to go. Otherwise, they would tank for the cap space / draft picks / rookie scale contracts.

Quick question, are four team trades even common? I see most of the trades proposed here include 4 teams, not many of them are just 2 teams

All right thanks, the only four team trade I could remember was the Courtney Lee trade. Other than that I cant really recall any four team trades

Decent size for the one, but also capable of play two along side with Beverly. If the Beverly project doesn't work out, we can have Nolan be back up 1 and Barton back up Harden.

Sac: Geoff Petrie stated that the only way he trade Evans is if the trade is "cash neutral" meaning they do not want to take on salaries. Douglas and Aldrich for Evans would be cash neutral in my eyes and maybe throw them cash as well

Suns: GM for Suns stated that he wants to rebuild and go young so I would trade Motiejunas, Jones and Patterson for Gortat

Rockets: Rockets win on all phases of this trade...get a big to play backup 5 mins and a better combo guard (ideal 6 mn)

Lin - Harden - Parsons - Morris - Asik

Evans - Delfino - Smith - Gortat

Beverley - Anderson - White (Dress Clothes)

Really?

You give Patterson or Morris the same shots and they could definitely hit 43% of them and score 15+ PPG.
The problem is that we'd be a 30% win team (a la Toronto when Bargs is featured).

If he was available at $1.5m per season then it might be worth considering, but his contract is obscene for his production, and there are plenty of PFs who can shoot the 3 pointer at around 30% (Morris 38.3 is a better career 3pt shooter, and Patterson 36% is a better mark than Bargs has achieved since 2009...)

Tyreke + Lin + Harden? That'd be pretty terrible unless you had a bonus multiplier going in pinball. Not even ball to go around for those 3. Barely enough for Harden +Lin alone.

 

I would be very happy with this trade

 

Tyreke will be a six man type player for us I think this a very doable and logical trade!!!!

J.J. Redick would be a better fit. We need a catch and shoot player plus he can run the point as well. He would be a great option off the bench. 15-20 points a game easy. That's better offense than we would get from Josh Smith and Milsap but at a cheaper price.
