Necro.. The last three months in a row I have had to call comcast about my bill.. Normally it was 140ish for HD DVR and highspeed net, it has gone from 170 to 200 and this month it is 272!!!! I have to call and talk with a damn rep tomorrow for an hour now and get this **** settled, god I wish they offered UVerse where I live... White people problems...
That sucks you can't switch over the Uverse.. If you do decide to switch tell them you're looking for a bundle with AT&T U-verse TV U300 Normally $87 but should get a promotion to knock off $28) HBO/Cinemax should be included in the promotion free for at least 3-4 months let them know that Comcast does this too. AT&T High Speed Internet Max Plus provides the speed and security you need, including built-in wireless home networking capability, access to the AT&T's entire National Wi-Fi network, 11 email accounts, photo storage, AT&T Security Suite powered by McAfee, pop-up blocker, and parental controls. Normally $53 a month but should give you a promotion to knock off $5 or more... U-verse Voice Includes over 20 features, including advanced features that integrate with U-verse TV, Internet, and Wireless from AT&T. Normally $35 but should give you a promotion to knock off $5 or more... Let them know to include HD service in your promotion as well, usually free for up to a year.. Now sometimes the promotion would last maybe 3 to 4 months once your promotion reaches the last day call them again and tell them you want to drop everything and switch providers.. They will work hard for you to keep you as their customers so they will probably extend your service for 1 year contract of 150ish a month... Not that bad of a deal but again no Rockets coverage which sucks and the only reason you want cable in the first place..
I love my Uverse, just miss my Rox. Not enough for me to change cable companies though. Would NEVER go back to Comca$h.
