And know about some legit online site's to get kicks? I wanna cop the Penny 5's suns, but can't find em on a 100% legit site in size 10.
I had a pair of Air Jordan 4's growing up and have been thinking about picking up a pair. Is ebay kind of sketchy on getting authentic shoes?
It can be, i wouldn't buy my shoes from it because i'm paranoid that someone wear'd e'm and fixed up. Labeling them as new and never worn, pricing it at full or even over full price lol....but there is a group of salesman on ebay that have a reputation of always selling authentic top notch sneakers. Just google it if your interested.
The 4s are a classic shoe. Like everything else on eBay, you have to do your research. There are lots fakes, but many legit as well. Here a a few tips: 1. If you find a colorway you like, google it and make sure the were official released by Nike/Jordan. If they weren't, they are fake! Here is a history of all the IVs that were officially released - http://www.nicekicks.com/air-jordans/air-jordan-4/ 2. Always check feedback. Read the comments, look at the items he is selling and items sold. Hard to trust guys with less than 100 transactions but there are dudes who are trying to build their rep. 3. Pictures, pictures, pictures! If the auction is using stock photos, it's fake. If there are just 1 or 2 pictures, it's sketchy. There is no reason to not have multiple pics since a picture pack is now free to list in auctions. Now some guys just may be lazy or don't know how to sell, but this way helps the weed out some of the fakes. The more detailed pics, the better. Also, if they list in the description that they're not sure if these are real or fake, they are probably fake. 4. There are sneaker forums like niketalk.com where you can post the pictures of said shoe and the members there will tell you if they are legit or not. There are also pictures and guides on the web if you want to compare yourself. Here is one of the IVs specifically - http://reviews.ebay.com/HOW-TO-SPOT-FAKE-JORDAN-IV-apos-S?ugid=10000000001772198 5. Most Jordan Retros, that have sold out, will cost more than retail price if they are brand new. Keep that in mind. I have gotten great deals on slightly used Jordans but you must make sure to do extensive research because its risky. Sometimes gems do sneak by because of the lack of eBay suave from the seller. If you follow the tips and look for those red flags, it will help weed out a lot of the bad guys. Not a 100% full proof system but it helps. The original IVs from 1989 Aaaand the black & red IVs released on Black Friday (was lucky enough to snag a pair )
Anyone have these? Or have any reviews of Under Armour shoes? I like some of their latest ones, but never owned a shoe made by them.
Best bet is to hit up a nike town. For instance the lebron soldiers that came out over the summer are like 120-150 new depending on the colorway. In August when new trims were still coming out nike town had em for 90. No site since its a factory direct boutique but every time I visit family in a big city with good shopping I always make an effort to stop by one of them
For casual wear and jeans- go with them. As for running I always recommend getting your feet checked out for over pronation and etc. the under armour spines a decent running shoe though- oh and the micro g which the shoe features is some of the comfiest sole materials out there
Not much of a sneaker head but I remember the IV's being my prized possession when I was younger. So glad I picked me up a pair earlier last year.
Thanks for the tips. I'm really liking both the black and the fire red's, so will probably go with one of those.
The Originals and some of the first retros had the swoosh. If you can find some (I have a couple in the closet collecting dust) they are pretty expensive.
Just giving a heads up, Finishline just did a restock of many of the Jordan Retros that came out over the past months. Many of these sold out quick on launch. I would jump on them but I just grabbed the Retro 3 '88s yesterday.

I have some pair of under armour casual running shoes... they feel great and the exact instant I put them on I felt like running. I thought that was great for some "running" shoes because I dont get that feel with every pair of sneakers of course. If you're thinking about getting some go to a local store, Big 5 or whatever is near you and try some on then stand up in them and see.
Has anyone heard of these shoes? I came across a pair at a garage sale and bought them because they looked so unique. I was going to sell them on eBay but can't find a good source that will give me a price point. Thanks in advance! http://www.amazon.co.uk/ADIDAS-MISS-HOOPS-LADY-TRAINERS/dp/B002E1A4NG
