Why do I want my center playing guard. I want my center playing center. What kind of stupid logic is that. Oh my gosh, he's a point center!!!!
I think the difference is that she had a relationship with someone she coached and had scholarship authority over.
It's beyond time to clean house. They're just embarrassing themselves, the university, Austin and the state.
If she was a trainer he probably had some authority over her. I wonder how much she got paid? or is it even a she? If they were winning its fine, but since they are losing time to get fired.
A'Shawn Robinson is decommitting from UT and sill sign with Alabama. Not a 'Horns fan, but I'd rather he have stayed in the Big 12.
what? a college kid getting busted for underage drinking? wouldn't even be news if he wasn't a football player.
why you are trolling so hard? we all know you don't care about college football, especially in the state of texas. stay in the GARM and troll some Lin fans, they certain love to react.
you're right, it's not a big deal, but the kid was a 4 star so figured it was worth mentioning. Not sure what the standard punishment is team wise for this sort of thing.
I don't know either, but Brewer wasn't getting much playing at all. I don't know why kind of punishment he got, but I don't think he'll get kicked off the team.
It's just an interesting thing to note, the distinctions between programs. I just look at it this way because I am also a Georgia fan and Richt runs a pretty tight ship. It's pretty clear that Mack does not.
I blame Mack on other things besides kids being kids. Recruiting the wrong players, have the stupid "co-offensive coordinators" crap. failing to make adjustments during half time etc. I don't he can control kids partying. we all went to college (well most of us), we know what happens.
it's not about controlling kids, it's more about controlling the damage that they cause. Kids are going to be a kids, hell by all but legal standards I'm a kid and I've done stupid things, so I get it. The thing with Georgia is Richt was consistent in making sure that the players knew what was and what was not okay and if you broke those rules you suffered the consequences. I look at the most recent incident in San Antonio and while legally it turned out to be nothing those kids shouldn't have been out there in the first place. That's a Mack issue, not a kids being kids issue. For me, I worry that either A. the policies aren't in place or what's worse (or better if one is in the Mack getting fired camp) B. people just don't give a ****.
You're using Richt as an example of how things should be done? Seriously? Three of his running backs failed a drug test before the Florida game in 2011 and he waited to suspend them until the next week vs. New Mexico State. He only suspended Sanders Commings two games for hitting a chick, when he had suspended less important players far worse for far less. In fact, I googled "Richt suspensions" and came across 5+ incidents requiring some form of suspension for Bulldog players from Richt in the last two years. If he was really running as tight a ship as you say he is, then his players wouldn't be continually doing things that require suspension.
