Lin is holding his improvement. HE is going to improve even more thru the season, and win the most improved player award.

Is PPat playing better because he's not parking at the 3pt line so often?

I'm glad we won against the Bobcats.. otherwise this thread will be hundreds of pages too long..

Harden may have made triple double..
but 2Pat saved the game with his shots...
Good thing the starters were playing well..

Benching Lin after the costly turnover was a good decision by McHale to let him cool off.. I think Lin can be too hard on himself that may affect his game at crucial moments..
Toney Douglas is more stable in comparison, even though he may be a lesser PG.... he is reliably predictable... Not sure if this makes sense..

I'm definitely not a troll NEW - are you?? I'm talking FACTS. We've won 4 out of 5 since Lin became the primary ball handler (again). Tell me someone else who can run our offense. When Harden does - we lose. Everyone can see that TD is a SG. Beverley might be able to but would you trust your offense to someone who has played less than NBA games? So if Lin goes down (especially after the trade deadline) we MISS the PLAYOFFS!!!

Not only compared to last year, but compared to the first of the year, and compared to six weeks ago.

why is bad in 1st qt? i thought it was consistent and good. put lin on bench first then sent him back when harden went to bench with 2 min left of 1st qt. lin continued to play in 2nd qt and took a short break and finished the first half. the same happened in 2nd half.

BTW - I agree that benching Lin in the 4th Q after 2 turnovers was the right call. Putting him back in later was correct also. Have to admit McHale got it right for once.

yes! at least i think so. he has been solid shooting the mid range baseline j. and he even has a few post plays these past few games. he can shoot the corner 3, but that doesnt mean he should all that often...

i would like McHale does that to every starter. when any of them makes a couple of mistakes, McHale should put him out and cool him down a little and then put him back. long benching is not a good way to trust your starters.

Lin is just being hesitant, thinking too much. Mchale made the right call. Guess the post-game meet and greet got to him. LOL

No one is dumping on Lin. So stop pretending that you are fighting a war against haters.

You are also not saying anything new. Everyone knows what a PG is. Lin had a good first half and mixed second half. He got others going in the first half. Harden and 2Pat carried the team in the 4th quarter. Lin is important, but you do not need to bash every other player.

why take a guy out who is playing fantastic only 6 minutes into the game just because that's the way you always do it? Then you have to turn around and put him right back in?

Since you so ardently wish to talk about nothing but Jeremy Lin in the game thread, maybe you should move these opinions to one of the numerous threads specifically centered around Jeremy.

Because he took him out with 5 minutes left in the 1st Q when the team was on a roll and JLin was playing well (5 assists and 2 steals). There is something called momentum which was killed by that substitution. Usually your starting players are given a REST with 2-3 minutes left in the 1st Q not BENCHED with 5 minutes left when they're playing well. He was BENCHED with 7 minutes left in the 3rd Q against Denver. Bizarre coaching.

good game by the team. 3s are not falling, refs favoring other side, fight it out and got a win!
