Personally, I think playing Aldrich + Harden + Morris is a mistake.

Harden and Aldrich are both weak defenders for their position, and Morris is a poor rebounder compared to Patterson.

    It should probably have been Aldrich (3) + Patterson (4) + TD/Anderson (2).

You can cover up one weak defender, it's almost impossible to cover for 2 when you have a half way competent offensive team.

A win is a win regardless who the team is.

Lin is just not as consistent as you would like him to be. I do not see his performance in this game has anything to do with rotation. Glad Patterson is getting a big night!

How strong is Patterson? I watched the first offensive rebound Bobcats got. Patterson simply lost his position although he was fighting hard.

If you guys would stop dumping on him we would definitely give it a rest. Like I said we've the last won 4 out of 5 with Lin being the primary playmaker. Only game we lost against Denver it was "point guard by committee". It may kill you but if Lin goes down with injury the Rockets miss the playoffs. There's NOBODY else to run the offense. If you don't realize this you either don't understand basketball or are blinded by hate.

Harden was sleeping in defense in the first half but doing great in both ends in the second half. Lin and Parsons were doing brilliantly the first half but Lin seemed to be lost after the accident. Asik as always is the key to our defense and had great offensive game today. But without 2Pat, we could have lost today ! Biyombo is a monster in shot blocking. I hope the coaches set up more PnR midrange plays. When our 3's don't fall the midrange shots are really important to keep hands from getting cold and stay in the game.

Yes, too many mistakes, but that's what young teams do. But, you can really see where these guys are learning how to play together on offense. Very balanced offensive game by the Rockets. Listening to the post-game with McHale, he is seeing what Clutchfans are seeing, both good and bad.

I think tonight you can see why McHale hasn't thrown in the towel on PPat and Morris this season. PPat was great in the 4th quarter, Morris did nothing the entire game. But PPat and Morris are both capable of having great games, they just have to figure out how to bring it every night.

You are very correct to question coaching's decisions on player subsitutions and their minutes. I earlier resisted on criticizing their decisions, but when these substitutions and lineup combinations are resulting in giving up leads and giving the other team a chance to get back into the game, then coaching decisions has got to be questioned.

The same applies to Lin and Delfino... :)

Comparing to Bobcat's offensive system in the first half, McHale's team is doing a much better job. Bobcat's offense was literally different players making iso plays...

    I may just agree..
And this goes for any of our starters, yes even Ppat..
And this is where coaching staff McFail's again..
Need to develop our bench options with most most potential..and no, we're not talking about Aldrich, TD..

Substitution patterns for Lin were good in the second half, bad in the first half.

All aboard the Big Dick Patterson bandwagon!
