    1st time in Houston, looking for a place to get rockets gear near the arena without the over priced arena stuff. Suggestions?

    Do they still have the Rockets Shop at the mall? That was my favorite store as a kid.

    That version of Memorial City Mall died long ago. It got hood, and then it got rebuilt.




    Just try an Academy or Sports Authority, or a mall with a Foot Action/Foot Locker.

    Your best bet is to try Academy or any shoe store in the mall.

    Academy is gonna have the best selection of Rockets gear and they got some nice old logo shirts. Don't know if there's one near downtown though, as the closest one I can think of is on Kirby and 59.
