rudy gay wasnt asked to do much in memphis accepted his role and was pounded on this site for that. Memphis made a solid financial decision in that prince can give them the offense they need from that wing spot. However word is that his teamates were happy with the team makeup we will see if there are chemistry issues going forward.

rudy gay is natural basketball player, it wouldn't take him long to fit with any team in the league. does he have the heart to take his game to the next level, time will tell but the guy is raw talent and even though the trade was seven years ago and i don't care anymore you can never tell me it wasn't a mistake.
We will never know if he would have actually developed into a good basketball player here, but as is, he cost the Grizzlies 7 years of mediocrity.
