If Morey was to trade Lin for Westbrook everyone on this board would be so overjoyed at the Trade...admit it.
He went to the locker room on his own...mo cheeks went back there to bring him back out That's just too upset over a call
Gtfo man Westbrook wishes he was half the man derrick rose is. I hate the bulls but I sure as he'll respect drose, dude is probably one of the most humble players in the nba. Westbrook is a overhyped crybaby.
I like him. He can be a little crazy but he is also a difference maker. The guy competes and does not back down from anyone. You need these kinds of fearless players in the playoffs. Brooks has been a teammate of Maxwell (not as talented as Westebrook, but Westbrook isnt as out-of-control as Maxwell either). He has seen how Rudy handled Maxwell. He is probably taking the same approach with Westbrook. Hakeem kept Maxwell in check during the games as well. Durant will have to do the same, although Maxwell really respected Hakeem. I am not sure westbrook has the same kind of respect for Durant. In any case, Thunder are not going anywhere without Westbrook. He might be a nutcase but I will take my chances with him anytime, anyday.
I loved watching Dragic piss him off last year. If I was an opposing team, I would gameplan around getting under Westbrook's skin. Call him names, talk about his mother, hard fouls and so forth. Some guys just can't play well mad. Westbrook is one of them. Hopefully Jeremy Lin can expose the chink in his armor when we play again them again.
Stuff like this happens, but it reflects on maturity and decision making when he's on the court too. He should be past this at his age in my opinion. Everyone is different in how they deal, I'm ok with that, but what he will need to realize is that it impacts the team. To win a championship, everyone has to be in it together, and these little divisions create doubt.
Don't sweat it, Russell... Royce White's working hard to make things easier for you. Extremely high talent level, ridiculously low maturity level... from 0:43 - 0:50, he looks like a petulant child who didn't get a lollipop like he wanted.
He looked like he was about to cry in that interview. What a baby and he is talking about handling it like a man. I dont get why he got so mad when it was clearly his fault.
There's a reason OKC puts up with him. He's that damn good. And for god sakes, OKC has the best record in the league. And this outburst happened in a blowout. When your team is so good you make your own problems.
