These are young guys in their early twenties, kids who were just in school a short while ago, just starting out in life. They're adjusting to the beginning of a new career with lots of traveling and being on the road away from family and friends. And they go through emotional highs and lows together as a team and spend most of their time either practicing, playing, traveling, resting, or blowing off steam in foreign towns together. It's not surprising that they form strong close-knit bonds of friendship. That happens to any young group of people forced to spend so much time together, and living in each other's shadows on the road, isolated from their friends and family, and isolated from the general public by the media and celebrity, when the only constants are each other's company, good or bad. I would much prefer this close camaraderie, rather than have locker room unrest and mutinies with idiots pulling guns on each other (Arenas/Crittenton) or screw each other's mothers (Lebron/West) or other drama.
