Eight straight possessions where there is either a turnover or missed jump shot; looks like reason #1 is the winner...

    Start of 4th Quarter

    Morris 3pt Shot: Missed 11:43

Asik Turnover : Lost Ball (5 TO) 11:17
    Steal: Faried (1 ST)

Delfino Substitution replaced by Harden 11:11
Morris Substitution replaced by Patterson 11:11
    [DEN 87-86]

    Douglas 3pt Shot: Missed 10:57

Parsons Foul: Shooting (3 PF) (2 FTA) 10:41
Asik Substitution replaced by Delfino 10:41

    Parsons 3pt Shot: Missed 10:11

Parsons Turnover : Bad Pass (4 TO) 09:43
Douglas Substitution replaced by Lin 09:43
    [DEN 88-86]

Harden Foul: Offensive (4 PF) 09:14
    Harden Turnover : Foul (5 TO) 09:14

    Patterson Turnover : Traveling (1 TO) 08:43

Lin Turnaround Jump Shot: Missed 08:05

Lin Jump Shot: Made (11 PTS) 07:41
Assist: Delfino (2 AST) [HOU 88-96]

It's a tough loss, I'd be super upset losing a potentially winnable game with several tough games on the horizon.

McHail doesnt look happy. Hope everyone learns from this loss. As long as management doesnt change the team too much because of knee jerk reactions, the coach will improve along with the players. No one is perfect, so we should lay off throwing eggs at McHail because of some mistakes during one game. He and along with the players are getting to know each other. Why do you think the spurs have been so consistantly good for so long? Because there management has stuck to the core players and coach even from the start when they were not as dominant as they are now

Actually it started at the end of 3rd Q:

Morris Foul: Shooting (4 PF) (3 FTA) 00:52.1 (bad foul, should never foul the 3pt attempt)

Harden Substitution replaced by Parsons 00:52.1

    Douglas Jump Shot: Missed 00:33.9

Douglas Foul: Loose Ball (4 PF) (2 FTA) 00:30.0 (another bad foul, totally unnecessary on the offensive end leading to 2pt for Denver)

Parsons Turnover : Lost Ball (3 TO) Steal:Miller (1 ST) 00:07.9 (Parsons playing PG making play? WTF???)

Douglas Running Jump Shot: Missed 00:00.1

Loved mchale as a player, absolutely hate him as a coach! He's clueless on game rotations, has no faith in his future players, gives minutes to european journeymen but not 1st rd picks, has no playing style, hate when small ball comes out(doesn't use the teams size), doesn't know how to handle a star player(times when intervention is needed), never takes blame for anything, talks down to everybody but harden, doesn't use the full depth of the bench, I could go on and on.

He projects a deer in the headlights look.

I think it's a bit odd how he vaguely calls out Harden and the down fall of the team in the 3rd qtr because he (McHale) was the reason for Harden turning to that.

He put out Douglas, Morris, Smith, and Delfino leaving Only Harden to create. You are letting a guy whose mentality is to score score score the only guy out there to create. It's pretty predictable what's going to happen.

You need two ball handlers on the court. What I mean by that is two guys you can run the offense out of even if it's a post guy you can throw it down to and settle things down.

If you just leave one of Parsons/Harden/Lin out there you're going to have problems scoring. If you want to give two of those guys a rest then your best option is probably going with Lin since he'll create for other guys.

sure sign of guilt is acting all pissed and b****ing about all kinds of nonsense.

this loss was 100% on the coaching. i don't care if you're a LOF, a LOH, or a ****ing transsexual wombat with a purple flower case. if you don't agree with this you don't know **** about basketball.

THIS. the team on the floor end of the third was deteriorating. anyone could plainly see that. only an idiot would trot them out for the fourth.

Mchale's gameplan prior to the Nuggets, " looklooklook weeweewe need to keep pushing the pace, swing the ball side to side and play hard."

Mchales's gameplan prior to Bobcats, " looklololook we kneekneeneed to keep pushing the pace, swing the ball side to side and play hard."

    Rinse and Repeat.

I just went through 6 pages of almost every single poster on here bashing McHale, and saw zero logical basketball reasons that made any sense as to why the bashing is deserving.

The most frequent strong opinion's against him are his choices as to who to go with at the PG position(Lin fans getting butthurt), not playing the rookies, and too much PT for Chandler/Harden/Asik.

Seems like to me, people are searching for something... ANYTHING they can to make him out to be the bad guy when all along they are forgetting who this team is... which is a team that should be very inconsistent, have a record around .500, and in the end fighting for the 6 to 8 playoff seed.

The gameplan is almost always the same with this team from game to game, but the execution is totally up to the players at the end of the day.

What about that part about he shouldn't use Parson, TD and Delfino to play point while leaving Lin and Harden on the bench?

What about that part about he shouldn't sub out Asik to play small ball vs. small ball?

Did you really read every single post?
