    Because Portland does not have a heavy talent advantage over us and LA does. One team is tremendously underachieving and I hope they don't flip the switch, as I would like to witness the biggest flop in NBA history.

    Why? Because the Lakers ended so many championship runs we had? Because the Lakers are a division rival? The only teams Rockets fans are almost required to hate are the Jazz, Supersonics and maybe the Celtics.

    Actually nevermind, just realized that nobody likes Kobe here. Also realized most of the posters in this thread would rather see the Lakers fail miserably than play beautiful basketball exhibited by superior talent.

    Another 30 point game for Kobe! But how come the Lakers always lose when Kobe scores 30+ points per game?

    Obviously other players need to step up! They need to work on grabbing those offensive boards and passing them back to Kobe!
