I agree with the OP that adding Nate Robinson and Carlos Boozer would improve the team immensely, at least if we were able to keep Lin, Harden, Asik and Parsons. Boozer is a nice scoring PF with range to 18 feet, and Robinson would be the guy on our bench who can create offense - that is something we lack. However, there's no way the Bulls are trading either of those guys (or at the very least, Boozer) for anything short of a star.

The Bulls wouldn't part with Boozer because he's playing exceptionally well at the moment, unless we give them some valuable prospects in return.

Besides when Boozer and Nate come to Houston we won't really need Asik and Lin that much as McHale prefers to go small and he likes offensive sparks and hustle players at the point.

Boozer as our starting PF and also our centre during crunch time when we go small ball would be a huge upgrade over Patterson and he can catch and dunk it unlike Asik. And with Nate/ Douglas/ Beverley we have three PGs who can really hustle and defend at PG and are fearless with their shot selection so we can get an offensive spark from quarters 1-4 instead of a laggard trying to run the offense and camping in the corner for 3 who can't shoot it.

We could get a three team trade happening where we move Asik and Lin, Chicago receives a pick and Lin to replace Nate. The third team receives Asik.

    This is completely false.

Chicago owes Carlos Boozer over $30 mil in 2013-14 and 2014-15. That is a massive overpay and one of the five worst contracts in the NBA.

If a team, any team, offered Chicago contracts that expire at the end of this season for Boozer, and I'm talking about contracts of players who are completely worthless, Chicago would make that deal in a heartbeat and never look back. Hell, if this team insisted that the Bulls trade a first round pick AND Boozer for expiring contracts, Chicago would make that deal in a heartbeat, too.

this might be one of the worst trade ideas/threads ive ever read on clutchfans. worst part is that there is more than the OP who agree.... what is wrong with the intelligent fan base that once was clutchfans??

Don't you b**** about Harden's defense and ball stopping tendencies? So your solution is to try and trade for two horrible defenders that are notorious ball stoppers?....

Instead of making a thread for this, you should have posted this in this thread

The Bulls are not planning to amnesty Boozer. He will be traded or remain on the team.

How long have you been a Rockets fan? Robinson and Boozer are the exact type of players the Rockets do not want. The Rockets do not want over paid players with long contracts, nor do they want poor defenders that monopolize the ball. The Rockets system is dependent on having players that can play multiple positions, can run, shoot threes and finish inside.
The Rockets struggles are in part due to having pieces that do not fit their system.

    Don't take Boozer, he's a loozer.

Seriously, the dude is vastly overpaid, doesn't play defense and is as fragile as Tmac/Yao Ming...except Tmac/Yao go down to legit injuries while Boozer takes 2 months off for a broken pinkie.
