They're replacing the windows with individual tvs to make the worlds largest contiguous collection of flat panel tvs. all of them will feature an ad

    or

Astros ring of honor type thing...with former Astros greats are featured

    or

Replacing the train with former Astroworld's Greezed Lightnin'...and for $5 you can ride during the game

#3 is the greatest idea i've ever heard. isn't that sitting on somebody's farm outside the city?

hope you're wrong on #2, but that's not a terrible guess. jersey retirements like they already do seems sufficient enough.

it's gotta be something astrodome-related. they should rip the roof off and retrofit minute maid's retractable roof with pieces of it.

Not to mention the walls in LF dedicated to Biggio & Bagwell. Don't know if the banners with former players are staying or not, since those were 50th anniversary things from what I thought.

What ever happened to Batty Bob? Last I remember, Drayton banned him from the park or something. Is he dead?

Next to Tal's Hill, they are going to add a spot of astro turf.

Many folks have long since forgotten the 1867 Houston Lumber Socks. They almost became one of baseball's first professional teams. But when the rail opened up to New Orleans many of the best baseball players spread out to Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio and El Paso. And that was the end of that. Some like Casey Candaele's Great Great Grandfather ended up playing for Boston. Harris field was overgrown after the team disbanded and became what some folks would describe as a sort of grassland or meadow, and was overtaken by the Gaspaco Rabbit, native to North America. And that's were you get the mascot from. Many were shot for their fur and pelted. And ulimately that began the great rabbit migration of 1870 into South America during the north american interchange. More than 1/2 the worlds rabbits still live in North America to this day, but South American rabbits, with their extraneous large ears, are a direct reult of the migration from Harris field in Houston.

Guys, thanks for the help and feedback. I've already finished the project and no longer need any help. For now.

    Thanks again.
