You should go to that interesection and video the green light sequence so that you can prove that when your unprotected light is green that the opposite side is red.
How could the other party have a green light if OP had a green light? OP was coming from the bottom of the T.
I was under the impression that he was turning left and an oncoming car hit him. For example, he is heading north, has an unprotected green, turns left and a car heading south has a green light and t-boned him.
Ends up that the other party has hired a lawyer and is faulting me for the accident and "injuries sustained." I know full well it wasn't my fault, but it is still the 3 in their party against one (me). Also I noticed there are cameras on a couple of lights at the intersection. Me and my girlfriend are both poor college kids so obviously, we're trying to have this situation pan out with spending the least amount of money, but is it a good idea for me to follow suit and hire a lawyer as well???
