Shaq might not even have heard of Chandler Parsons.

    yes, this is correct.

rookies and sophomores who qualify for the game are announced today.

Charles and Shaq will have a draft, old school playground style.

the teams will play each other, with rookies and sophomores playing with and against each other, in the new format known as the "Rising Stars Challenge"

they changed it last year and this will be the second time in the new format.

Will the teams be set up East vs. West?

Or is that just for the 3pt contest, skills, etc.?

who selects the pool of players?

Greg Smith absolutely deserves to make it. He would tear it up in that game.

Beal may not make it, if his wrist injury worsens.

If he doesn't I wonder who his replacement would be.

also, this year for the first time, fans will vote on the starting lineups (3 backcourt and 2 frontcourt spots for each 9-man team) after the draft takes place, which is next Thursday the 7th.

Zeller is the only iffy pick there. Terrence Ross would have been a better pick. Or Valanciunas if he was healthy.
