I'm glad to hear this. He still has time to develop. From what I've seen of him this year, I am not sure I believe he'll ever be a quality starter in the NBA. That doesn't mean he can't at least develop into a quality backup.
oh good! Machado's very raw but that doesn't mean that he can't improve. Also shows that the management has faith in him to a point, and wants to develop him more.:grin:
Thats good for him. He wont have a chance to make it back to the team unless we make a trade this year.
Just curious. Why wouldn't anyone else sign him? He's obviously got talent and it's only a signing to the Vipers so he's not actually on the Rockets or any other NBA teams roster. He of course has to clear waivers thru the NBA once waived but what about the D-League. ____ BTW, these threads for the Vipers/D-League really help with the inexperienced of the processes. He doesn't have a good enough skill that translates to the NBA level. He needs to work harder on his game and stop believing the hype.
he could take a page from the jeremy lin biography. patience, perseverance, hard work and HUMILITY hope he improves cause his best skill is exciting to watch
Gersson Rosas, the Executive VP of Basketball Operations for the Rockets, is also the general manager of the Vipers.
I don't even know what that means. The guys a rookie, undrafted at that, and still has a chance to make it in the league. He's very young, has one major skill that can be ultimately mastered at this level, and also still has time to polish all his other skills. I wouldn't write him off yet, but he will be a work in progress that's for sure.
