Should I get this on the wii u? Seen some gameplay onine. I'm just worried about the frames per second.
I got the Master of Humiliation emblem and I think I have officially retired from the game. Can't do a thing since. I love that emblem though. Think I may have it made into a T-shirt to wear every day. It's appropriate too since I'm essentially a jester running around with an SMG at this point.
Zombies on this game are nowhere near as good as the zombie concepts/maps in the original Black Ops game. I was looking forward to this game...I'm fairly disappointed in it. Maybe the new map packs will change my opinion.
There are permanent unlock tokens. You get them when you prestige and they unlock a gun or perk permanently. You can permanently unlock these early before you reach the required level.
What I found really cool about this black ops is you can unlock diamond camo for a class of weapons after you gold them all (all shotguns gold, or all assault rifles gold.. etc.).
Word of advice. Don't be the douche that gets the diamond camo shotguns... Maybe I'm posting this in the wrong thread.
This is the first call of duty that failed to be my go to game. Played from the first one till this. I went back to Battlefield 3. Extremely disappointed in this game in just about every way possible.
I know it's a whiny excuse but I would love some opinions. How much does Internet connection matter with these games? Ping? I went from being passable to an embarrassment. If it's me, ok but if I can buy better interwebz speeds... Hell yeah!
You're definitely in the minority...not sure what problems you have with the online, but its been widely considered as one of the best CODs ever, up there with COD4.
It helps if you are host... but, if you have green bars, then there is no excuse. If you have yellow bars, then you can have an excuse for dying.
I've heard the opposite is true... Someone told me that they use Host Lag, whereby they negate the host advantage by introducing artifical lag to level the playing field.
It's not ss good as the first black ops, but it doesn't suck like MW3. Tbose graphics are a pain in the ass.
I agree it isnt very good. I have a 2.02 k/d with over 9000 kills (so ive logged the hours to judge) but the servers suck, the lag sucks, the weapons suck (altgough with the patches they're becoming more balanced), the target finder is the dumbest thing ive ever seen. The maps are fairly balanced imo, and the scorestreaks are pretty fair as well.
You need to re-read this thread and see the peoples opinion on this piece of crap. Please look at its rating from players on metacritic also. Compare it to other first person shooters please. You are wrong. This game is widely considered one of the worst cod's ever. Right up there with cod 3 and world at War. Regardless of what mags say, the people have spoken and this game sucks balls.
You should follow the people on YouTube that get paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to play this game. Their jobs are to play Black Ops and post videos. Literally, play 8 hours a day. There are at least 20 such commentators I follow and not one of them thinks BO2 is bad...every single one thinks it craps on MW3. Most of them think its right there with COD4. I trust these guys rather than those that go on Metacritic to rant after they run into a bouncing betty. The only complaint I would have are the servers...the maps, scorestreaks, guns, etc...those are more balanced than any COD game in history. And balance is the key to having a successful multiplayer game.
