Why are they upset about the 3s. They were mostly, except the last shot, wide open threes. If you don't play D, what do you expect.
I was really impressed by his (and the team's) defense today. It's funny because he kept doubling whoever had the ball and yet it seemed like they never adjusted for that.
Houston's defense isn't actually that bad....it's the freakin TOs that's making the defense side look bad.
I don't see the problem. James Anderson, Aldrich, Motiejunas, Beverley, etc. are all fighting for their careers, just like bench warmers all over the league are. 4th qtr was not garbage time for them. Why shouldn't they play hard and show what they can do?
I agree but the guys who were sitting on the bench didn't need to be so ecstatic I think. Could have been a little bit more classy about it. I understand being happy for your teammates but still.
Our coaches actually getting praise for their strategy. Our team finally playing defense. Jeremy back to playing PG. PPat starting to fight for rebounds. I'm not sure which one of y'all sold your soul to the devil to get us our swagger but...thank you.
Yeah... Reminds me of: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?p=1846360 But then again, nothing wrong with cheering on teammates who rarely get to show their stuff (and mostly sit on the bench and wave towels for you).
I thought it was fine. They ran the Rockets offence and they ran it well, that's what they're there for. But the last Beverly attempt was over the line. The shot clock is off, you dribble out the clock. Nobody cares if you can hit a 3 when the other 9 guys on the court and standing around shaking hands.
Boone was more effective than Lunesta when he was teamed with Bollerjack. Locke is a much better fit.
Yup. If it was our starters, it'd be a different question. But we're talking about guys that get 2 mins every 5 games. Good that they were able to show off a bit.
The Jazz homecourt have always been the bane to the Rockets. There is a lot of bad blood between these two teams whenever we step foot in Salt Lake City. The Jazz have always been an incredibly strong home team. The fact that we were the ones who gave them their worse lost ever at home holds a lot of meaning. I'm absolutely fine with the celebration they were having.
It was me. I even stopped posting the QFTOS thread just in case I jinxed us into the 7 game losing steak. Wish #1: Rockets winning again.. check Wish #2: Getting back to Run n Gun transition offense.. check Wish #3: Lin playing pg, Harden playing sg.. check Wish #4: More pnrs and screens.. check Wish #5: Rockets playing D like I know they have the potential to... sorta Wish #5: Asik catching the ball..... umm, not yet Wish #6: Lin getting love from clutch fans.... umm, not yet.
The next game against them is gonna be a bloodbath. We better be ready to bring our inner thug out to secure that next win. Man, if we beat them by 50 next time....
Youngest team in the league puts on a clinic. The bench had every right to be so into it. Utah has deserved that for a while. Cant believe we went that hard on them.
I'll give Lin some love. He played great tonight, and has been playing damn well of late. Maybe he's turned a corner.
WTF. LOL I just saw the score and thought maybe we lost today. Damn. Really wish I could've seen this ass whooping, and on the jazz especially.
