I would love to see this. He is a very classy cat and I would be extremely happy if either one of my sons grew to be like Lin.

Thanks for proving my point. Nowhere did I call anyone an idiot. Nowhere did I call anyone melodramatic. Those who reacted as though I did are the same posters who are only going to look for bigotry in an article like what was listed.

For the last time the article that was linked said that Asian-American youth REPORTED being bullied more than any other ethnic group. My post offered possible explanations (some more tongue-in-cheek than others) as to why this could be.

But I am going to go lament being on your ignore list. There will be much weeping and gnashing of teeth.

    agree.

Notice a growing trend in shows and movies where the main antagonist is always a minority or of darker colored ethnicity. Before it was the black guys dying first or like dave chappelle said, they always end up making black guys go drag (martin lawrence, eddie murphy, madea dude).

We already know about them white washing asian characters. Heck they stole kung fu from bruce lee.

Ill let the great Marlon Brando say it best:

    Hollywood is shamelessly Racist.

Right now the gay agenda is being pushed. See all the gay roles in movies and tv.

Yeah, and Muslim-Americans just REPORTED being targeted after 9/11.

And women just REPORTED being sexually harassed or raped.

And gay teenagers just REPORTED being viciously bullied, often to suicide.

    They're all just REPORTING, right?

Such a well balanced young man. Wish him all the best and hope he has a long and fantastic career in the NBA.

Interesting to hear more about the first Rocket cut and how the team was trying to hold on to him.

    Go Rockets!

It's actually the opposite more often than not. Asian culture tend to encourage keeping things like bullying to themselves. The evidence that Asian Americans are the most targeted group for bullying in America is pretty strong, I suggest you do some research.

Psychology does not explain sociological behavior. People need to stop getting that confused. What Jeremy deals with isn't a psychological phenomena, its a sociological one.

People do try harder and tend to use racial epithets against Asians (not just me) when it comes to basketball. It's just the same as us saying that all black people are good at basketball.

I tribute most racial behavior to being ignorant. I'd be hard pressed to believe that Asian Americans are not racially bullied any less than the people in this thread have already claimed. The problem innately stems from stereotypes that we constantly perpetuate to our advantage . Yes we are good at math and we play violin, but we are suppose to suck at sports.

I would make this longer but I got lazy

Look, Im sorry I derailed the thread. This is headed for a D&D discussion. My point was never to offend. If my statements did so, I sincerely apologize.

Dude seriously, whats your point? African Americans are the most who complain about being unfairly targeted by cops. So? Does that mean they are whining? Or maybe, just friggin maybe there is some truth to it????

Someone in the audience should have shouted out, "Yeah you're single with Chandler Parson!"
