exactly. the coaches need to preach this. It makes me wonder if they get it though since Sampson made it clear early on that it isn't a democracy and the best player should handle the ball--that is clearly flawed. ISO is good in certain circumstances, not as a game plan. Let Lin create for the first 8 seconds etc and Harden will get his. Seems to be the way it works best.
The Jazz were one of our most bitter rivals in the Stockton/Malone era. They were notoriously dirty under the leadership of Jerry Sloan and seem to have even maintained that identity since his departure. Tracy McGrady famously said in an interview that he even hated the Jazz fans. And guys, can we please at least give T-Mac credit for that? edit: just read this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jazz–Rockets_rivalry
Lin is not being passive. He is getting everyone involved in the offense. When you get PPat involved in the scoring, he tends to play better defense. Same thing with Delfino - get him open shots so he gets hot. That's what PGs do.
This is truly awesome - blowing out Utah in Utah!!!!??? You've got to be kidding me BABY!!! Hope they can hang on - PLAY to WIN!!!!!
I hate them bc they're called the Jazz. And now we have some ridiculous Pelicans. The world ain't right.
