He can move forwards and backwards. And quiet possibly - to the side. He can also throw the ball in the direction of the hoop.

If he becomes amazing trade bait, do you forgive and forget, or sell high?

I can't stand him, but I am curious to see how long it will take for fans to start supporting him in light of the hole he's dug for himself; assuming he puts in the time and effort from here on out.

I'm still rooting for the guy to succeed in life and for the Rockets. I would still trade him in a heartbeat, but if he does well for the Rockets, I will cheer for the guy.

Many people on this board either are too young to remember of have forgotten some of the Rookies that would hold out on their contracts back in the 80's & 90's. That is what this situation has reminded me of.

I agree that the straight cold business apprach that ROYCE WHITE laments about so badly is what actually HELPED in this situation. Royce is saying that NBA is all about a business bottom line and not about "life". To where Rockets just respond to that with "YEAH, SO". And turn their efforts to those who do have their lives together, until Royce gets his together.

Though I don't think there's much way to spin that the Rockets "didnt lose" something. Yes its not much different than something like a Blake Griffin rookie year ACL tear causing him to miss his entire 1st year. Or its not much different than "euro-stash" picks like Ricky Rubio. But you still know in the back of your mind that Royce was not on the floor because of preferential choice, not cuz of a truly real obstacle. Some development delays are incidental, this one really wasnt.

over under on him showing up and playing ONE game after FEB 11
    ??

It has to be around 1.

Chance of him being good boy and making it past dleague back to NBA

    probably around 0.003%

I would like to be wrong but the odds are stacked against this guy doing anything past the first day before 'protocol' is broken.

This is a 'believe it when you see it' kinda thing and I hope he goes and puts up 50 a game in d league. it would be a great story sure but based on everything up until now just don't believe.

he needs to earn it and show some skills too. Make the rockets HAVE to call him up and make the rockets HAVE to play him.

Morey's ranking is too high. He can rebound, and pass, has court vision. He is not a good defender, posting up ability one on one is fair, and he needs to shoot a lot better.

Even if White establishes himself as a solid player, he could be an almost untradeable assert. Just think how easily he could scare another team off by going on another Twitter. The threat of impending anxiety might become a sort of no-trade clause at his own will.

That's correct. But if he turns out to be a good player he's not likely to be able to leverage big offers on the open market against what the rockets will be offering. Cuts both ways. He's not likely to want to go anywhere else; trust being the big factor.
