    Royce is a bright guy and trying to do the right thing. But he is screwed up mentally. Whether it is due to mental illness or just never learning to get his act together, either way he goes off the rails easily.

    He'll have issues while in the D league, guaranteed. The only question is if he can hold it more or less together long enough to demonstrate enough skill to get a chance to prove himself in the NBA. If he works hard he could become one of the great crazy players, like Dennis Rodman, Shawn Kemp, Jayson Williams, Stephon Marbury or Ron Artest. Potential Nuthouse of Fame, if you will.

    For his sake I really hope things work out for him now. If things go badly in the D League, because of his mental issues, I doubt anyone else in the NBA will want to give him a chance.

    This. Royce has a coach who went out on a ledge for him by drafting him. Royce will not likely have a better opportunity than with mchale.

    No, Fred Hoiberg is better for Royce than McHale. Fire McHale and Morey and replace both with Hoiberg.

    As part of the protocol agreement Les Alexander is not allowed to utter his creepy laugh within audible distances of Royce White, as it is very unnerving and may cause his anxiety to spike.

    I don't know if he'll ever get his head on straight enough to play NBA ball, but if he does, I have a high degree of confidence that he'll be a really good player. Still, you have to actually play in order to succeed. Not holding my breath.

    comparing Royce White (Who people have either seen in Summer league only or highlight videos) to westbrook (who isn't even known for his passing) is just atrocious.

    i don't believe a word White says but his basketball success is good for the Rockets, so go Royce!
