You're one of his haters, I get it. I see a shiiit system that the Rockets deploy. Rondo has been in Boston for years and he's great and all but this trade is a no brainer. I have no doubt Lin will pick it up easily in River's system as much you want it not to be successful. You can go ahead and suck on on Rondo's nuts once he's a Rocket and that will make you very happy next season no?
Apparently many ppl here. But hey, like Stuart Smalley said (to Sir Charles): "I guess Cleopatra isn't the only Queen of the Nile."
I would say he's the most lucrative point guard when he's playing at a Linsanity level. When he's play average like he is now, I don't think thats true. And whos to say he would ever return to that level?
Well that was simply uncalled for . I'm simply laughing at your -stating that Lin in the most lucrative 1 in the league without offering any numbers to back it up. -turning the Jeremy Lin is a Joke thread into Jeremy Lin should now be the central piece of a Lin/Rondo swap. -admitting that you don't care about the Rockets. Enjoy the ban.
Lin going to the Celtics would truly be linteresting, and you may just be right about him fitting into Rivers' system; however, I am not too sure the same could be said about Rondo in Houston. The 1 in Houston is seemingly played by everyone except the C, and the 2 in Houston plays the 1 often times just as much as the 1 does; and Rondo, being the best true point guard in the league with a bad jumpshot like Lin, the problem of finding a balance between offense initiation and point running may be further magnified. But personally, I think that Rondo has enough power to demand that at least 80% of the PG duties.
Rondo isn't demanding anything this season and Morey won't be trading for Rondo and his torn ACL. Lets just put this to bed.
The way the Rockets are coached right now, it does get frustrating. Sure Lin's shot is broken, we know this, but with a better game plan with him on the ball things should look better. I know people are down on him but the IQ and nuances to his game have continued to surprise me. He won't ever be fairly officiated for whatever reason but yeah.
Well, I got to believe this thread will become the one with most posts EVER on CF. Image how many posts will be in the thread when Lin retires or gets out of town? I say over 10,000 posts.
We're only seen "Linsanity" ONE game this year vs the spurs. lets be generous and say 4 games of linsanity 4 out of 45 games isn't even close to worth it for me. Statistically its not likely he will never return to that level. As a rockets fan i hope we don't sit around with him and wait to see.

Well of course... jump passing and foot on the line 3s are very evident of high bball IQ.. Also passing up good shots for worse ones...
If Lin played at Linsanity level, he'd probably be MVP of the whole league. $8 million for an MVP? Lin would have to have had the dumbest agent in the world.
