That is part of what being a superstar is about. After the trade, Wade commented that the test of being #1 option is the criticism you get when things go poorly. Harden appears to have been tough about it, despite public banter.
Great win, Asik had a monster game and Harden was beasting like usual. I never feel good about playing against Utah in Utah but it would be huge since we're fighting with them for playoff spots.

Been noticing the lack of calls on the drive also. During his days in NYC though, he would have gotten those calls; and that may be very telling of the league.
the worst call on lin was charging one. ppat got 2 blocking call. how did lin get a charging call beyond my understanding.
Probably explains why he's been selling fouls by throwing his head back now and then as if being hit by a truck.
That was a really fun game to watch tonight, loved the pace, and great effort by everyone. I have to say that Asik's aggressiveness was awesome, but it wasn't just him, the chemistry seems to be back and the guys seem to be having fun again!
Harden ISO ball is fine, as long as it's not the only trick in the bag. Lin initiated offense most of the game, Harden still got his 30 points last night and 29 points tonight on great efficiency. The problem is when we don't use Harden intelligently. Too much Harden and it becomes too easy to game plan and freezes out his team mates. Too little ISO and it costs us games. I think the balance over tonight and last night were quite good. Substitutions and rotations were pretty good. They even subbed out Lin at the right times. Still a bit confused about the use of TD and Beverly. Guess we'll just have to see how the minutes go. Asik's hands were actually good tonight once he settled down. Patterson had another good game. Too early to say we're on a roll, but it's definitely looking up.
Fun stat of the game: Harden 0 TO. Breaks his streak of 12 straight games with 4+ TOs. It's also the first time he has had 0 TOs all season. Parsons had 16 points 6 rebounds 11 assists, Asik had 20 points 16 rebounds, Lin 14 points 9 assists, Harden 29 points 7 assists. Great night for the starters (also Morris had 10 rebounds)
interesting end to the game. as good as lin was facilitating in the 4th, we needed the ball in harden's hands to close out the game. it's gonna be a hard balancing act going forward, but.. i think the rockets have a better chance of winning when it's lin with the turnovers, and not harden. lin's turnovers tend to happen with him trying to spread the ball/initiate the offense. harden's are often a result of him driving. not sold on lin's turnovers necessarily being bad for the team. at least the ball is moving.
I think it matters more than you think. This game was won in the second quarter 34-20 in Rockets favor and majority of that quarter Harden was on the bench. That said, he did close it out for us like only he can.
Nice. I guess because of the fast pace, we have a lot of games where multiple players have phenomenal, interesting statlines. I guess the faster the pace, the more opprotunities for stats to be increased.
