Every time Lin funneled his man baseline, Parsons or PPatt were there to cut the opposing player off, resulting in TOs or bad forced shots. I was really impressed last night. The timing of it was really perfect.

I would trust what Calvin Murphy says.

I will say yes to the first question and the second question will be answered by Jeremy's play. Can anyone here say Jeremy has played like a playoff caliber point guard?

Yeah, the coaches knows and it is the coaches who designs the plays. So, about time to change them. Yeah, let Harden lead the team because for sure we will win . . . wait, we lost 8 recently. SMH.

Pshaw, who's this Calvin Murphy loser? Obviously, he lacks the gravitas and credentials of the LOH heres who just know that Lin is a mirage but that Beverley is a revelation after 0 starts.

Jeremy Lin is too inconsistent to be our starting point guard. We need a guy that can defend the one well, manage the game, and can hit a 3 point shot. A player in the Fisher, BJ Armstrong, Kenny Smith mold.

i watched the 1st half of the nuggets game. it was a good half. I left when the score was 40ish and very close. I went to work and thought Rockets win it. Only to see a loss.

Pose that question to Calvin and he is going to say we why did you pay him 25 million dollars and the answer to that is at the time we didn't have any thing better. So the my point is JLin has to get getter better in the coaches eyes in my opinion. The game would so much easier for James if he played off the ball and he would have more energy for the defensive end.

I know it's a what have you done for me lately type business but the team is light years ahead of what was expected so don't trip. Take him away and you not fighting for playoff position.

If Beverly really fixed his shooting (terrible shooter before this year), I'm all for it. I would very happy if Lin fixed his shooting also. I would totally open up his game.

We need harden, that is for sure. what i can not take is that he is "the one" that is the coaching staff has been touting and pampering and given freedom at the expense of the team. look at what happened to the team when he starts to take over kobe-ish (not the latest 14 assist kobe, ok). poor energy and gawking at harden making his plays and getting his scores. people say, harden has no options other than himself to score. look at our win streak, how come we are top offense, it is not all harden. the moment he takes over, he alienates the others . . . thus the loss. yeah, he is the best in the squad. but, this is a team game.

The parts in bold do not belong in the same breath. The Jet's job was to play matador and let "our monster down low" erase the opponent.

However, the rest is more or less the truth.

Can you name at least 3 PGs in the league that does the three things (defend, manage, hit 3 pointers) well like you mentioned? I'll be waiting.

Calderon would be a really good fit. Can hit the 3 AND playmake.

Lin is a better defender than Smith, and a better passer than all 3 of those guys.

He's so early in his NBA career. 3 point shooting will improve over time. Remember that Lin is still relatively a rookie for the most part - and he hasn't adjusted to the NBA 3 point shot - 2-4 more feet than the NCAA.

    Shooting will improve.

My biggest issue with Lin is how much he picks up his dribble.
