Deron left the game hurt last night. Since they are on a b2b and traveling there may be a chance he skips this one.
Interesting to see if we see changes in our system from here on out. I don't mind getting losses as long as we see progress in player and team development.
"P.J. Carlesimo said he expects Deron Williams (quad contusion) to be able to play against the Rockets on Saturday. P.J. added that Deron could have returned to the game, but Memphis destroyed the Nets 85-87 on Friday and there was no need. Williams finished with 12 points, five boards, six assists, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 29 minutes. He should be considered questionable for Saturday's road back-to-back set with Houston."
If we move the ball and fast break like we did today, we win. If we go back to the non-democratic iso ball, we lose. The only team we can beat with the latter is the Bobcats. It would be difficult to predict which way the coaching staff will swing, considering they went to non democratic ball TWICE this season. The first time was the 1st 24 games, the second was the last 9 games.
As much as i want our Rockets to win as many games as they can and eventually make the playoffs, i'd much rather see our player's progressing and the team in general. I still feel some of our player's are being misused but i expect the coaching staff to finally make adjustments after that 7-game losing streak. For this team to continually improve and succeed in the future, they gotta play the best of the best. And this is the reason why i prefer Deron Williams suiting up for this game against us.
Both NYK & BKN seem to have high hopes for our CP.

@nyksection310 @chandlerparsons I was at the HOU game at MSG when Lin embarrassed the Knicks. Man I'm starting to buy into the if Lin plays well, the whole team plays well. Here's to hoping Lin plays well! Because when he plays well, Harden explodes in efficiencies.
If that happened, the fault would be with NYK & BKN. They've jinked us! But I really do hope our guys do well tonight.
It was easy for Patterson to bully the diminutive New Orleans PFs in the paint last night, let's see how he competes against the Brooklyn front-court. I want 5 offensive rebounds from you Chinless Hercules!
Patterson was a the difference against the Hornets. He needs to bring the same energy and intensity to this game against the Brooklyn Nets. It's all about consistency with PPatt.
