PPat played great. Do this more often and then FO might think of keeping you.

But we still needed the ball in Harden's hands late in the 4th. Notice the offense stalled with about 5 min left. We gave Harden the ball to make decisions on where the ball was going.

it's not an all-or-nothing thing. We need Harden's offense and guys to step up behind him.

PPAT! You walk that walk mister!
He was bad, bad man today.

P.S. I know it's been known, but his PnR defense is stellar.

I hope the league recognizes PPat's good game today and overblows it hence increasing his trade value.

When you're ahead by a significant amount, its a good strategy to dump the ball to Harden. Less energy being expended on ball movement saving energy for the next game, more time burnt, less likely to make a bad pass leading to a fastbreak and higher pace. The iso when ahead reduces variability; the expected points in the game for a given period of time is more consistent, meaning that the opponents are also less likely to put on a run.

    One simple question:
What happened if those 3pts come out from the final ISO strategy were missed?
Do you really understand the reason why rockets is in the losing str8?
ISO is needed, the way mcfail utilize it is wrong

played like a real PF...way to step up...now go do that again...i dont care much about scoring...but i loved the tenacity attacking the glass and loose balls...that shows effort...and he played with a lot tonight...

Now have to do it again...and again and again...

He finally set a good pick. My first time seeing him do that.

He used to set great screens/picks his rookie year. Defenders were literally running into a wall when Patterson set a pick. It disappeared somewhere after he got surgery. I'm not sure why but he needs to get back to it. Good game tonight from Patterson.

Patterson: Good win tonight, we shared the ball, but I meant sharing it amongst each other not the other team.

And good on him for responding to it!!

5 offensive boards is testament to his effort.

Even Ray Charles can see Patrick Patterson's lack of rebounding.

many reasons for the losing streak ...

watch the 4th qtr again ... 6-min stretch we were running our offense tentatively and NOH crept back to within 10. We went to Harden who made the right decisions because his teammates stepped up.

If his teammates missed, Harden would have been forced to take it into his hands more. Simple as that.

Lack of ball movement is not Harden's problem alone. He is not a selfish player; he passes willingly. But teammates need to make plays or else we go to our best scorer.

Coaches made quick adjustment too at end of 2nd qtr when Harden fell into a spate of TOs. Trying to attack the defense unsuccessfully. They sat Harden down and Lin & Co. were able to pad the lead. Start of 3rd, Harden got his 3s down instead of attacking all the time. Good adjustment for him too.
