I think he just needs to be aggressive and start hitting his outside shot and shoot more. He has the opportunity to do it but he gives up the ball too fast at times.

Like I said, I'm just wondering where he got it, whether or not he thought of it himself or he just heard it from somewhere.

yes somebody that has been analyzing the game on broadcasts for decades and was having more babies than the entire ukraine population is going to waste his time on what lofs think.

It's just basketball, not a complicated sport to understand. Guess that george karl dude was also logging to the internets.

What, you don't think a HOF NBA PG, arguably one of the top 15-20 PGs ever to play, can come up with his own observations of the game? I think he's knowledgeable enough to objectivity analyze the game and come up with his own opinions.

He's a Half of Famer... I'd venture to guess he has enough self-esteem and knowledge of the game to come up with his own ideas rather than piggy-back on a group of fans just to appease them. C'mon man.

I'm not saying he's trying to appease the fans. Like I said, he might've just heard it and it creeped into his head. We've seen this happen before. You have a big group that keeps on repeating the same thing and everybody eventually goes along with it.

Heard it from somewhere? Do you think he needs to hear it somewhere? Do you not know this guy watch every game and comments every game during half-time show? Dude, he is Calvin Murphy! People ask him his opinion about the Rockets. He does not need to hear anyone tell him anything about the Rockets. He knows it all when it comes to the Rockets.

Don't go that conspiracy road if you don't like some of LOFs conspiracy theory. ;)

It's not really a conspiracy. Nobody's mindfully trying to deceive. It's just something that quite possibly happened.

Then all I can say is : dude, you are over-thinking it. Good luck if you ever find out. ;)

Soooo.... Lin initiated the bulk of the possessions when he was on the floor. Harden scored 30 points very efficiently anyway. The only blemish on Harden's night was 8 turnovers vs his 8 assists.

AND the entire team looked good on both ends of the floor (minus Asik's stone hands and Smith's 5 fouls in 12 minutes).

Murphy's looking pretty smart right so far...

You're the second poster who's said this, so perhaps there's some truth to it. (I didn't get to see the game). Hard to fathom, based on what we've seen up to this point in the season.

Is Lin being directed simply to hand off to harden once he's past half court as usual?
