I think being the "superstar" here as well as the way coaching staff coddled him got to his head a bit. I think he's really trying to prove something out there at a detriment to team play at times.

At OKC there were 2 legitimate elite players ahead of him in Westbrook and Durant so his chucking tendencies were masked a bit.

You saw this with Monta Ellis. He had his best season in efficiency/PER as a 2nd option to Baron Davis. Once he became alpha dog he stifled the development of teammates and became a bonafide chucker with the blessings of coaching staff.

Look what Curry has done this season finally free of Monta in the backcourt.

I hope it's obvious by now that Harden is a great scorer but is not a PG. Let the PG's play PG and James be the main finisher (CM). No knock on James at all everyone has their strengths and weaknesses.

Lin seems to have picked up a few tricks from Beverley - much more aggressive at defending his man up high. PPat had some good moments last game and is playing really solid tonight. Parsons back on the fast break. Hopefully all of that is enough to give Harden a few minutes of rest so he doesn't need to carry the team on his back.

People need to stop bad mouthing the team. We are winning, we should be happy and celebrating the adjustment that has finally taken place.

No, it's not youth. It's mchale putting a short leash on him earlier. Maybe Mchale finally learned how we got 120 points a game earlier in the season.

Pointing out an obvious weakness is not bashing. Harden has a TO problem. Lin has a TO problem. They both need to protect the ball better.

I'd put a healthy Chris Paul and healthy Dwight (whenever that'll happen again) in the 1st tier as well.

That's because people have their own agenda. Too many fans of a player and not the team..

lin is a smart bball player. he reacts whatever other team defense gives to him. when with ny, no one knew him, so defense on him was bad. now defense on him is much better so he passed more than used to.

Monta had issues beyond being the designated alpha-dog. Harden seems to be really be trying to involve his teammates. His issue has more to do with his changing role and less a fundamental personality problem.

First time in a while there isn't some misguided Lin bashing. Unfortunately, harden is the new target. Gotta quit this ****, its old.

Or maybe yesterday's film session reminded Lin and the team how they scored so many points per game.

+1 for coaches running film session to teach young players a lesson.

yes Let Lin be PG, he has become a pretty strong ball handler and passer. Lin was guarded by three in the last game and couldn't force an TO from Lin.

I still believe Harden plays his best basketball when he comes off the bench for a SPARK:grin:
