So the guy who gave us Bride of Chucky is doing the sequel?

Will wait for The Grandmaster instead.

You can believe what you want, but Zhang Ziyi's fight scenes in CTHD were done by a guy called Zhang Jin, who is also in The Grandmaster this year.

Also what is so sophisticated about the CTHD story?

I also don't dig HOFD, at all. Hero I liked.

Sure, any sophisticated moves will always need a real stunt double. Even Jet Li and Jackie Chan have stunt doubles. You can still see most of the fighting and spinning is all her and not just strutting a pose like most Hollywood actors. If The Matrix to you is any indication of how Yuen Woo-ping actually train his actors.

The story has many layers. It's didn't get 97% on Rottentomatoes for no reason. You just in the same boat as most others who didn't like CTHD because of your big influence in the Hong Kong martial art cinema. As a big fan of the Hong Kong and Shaw Bros I at least admit that the characters sophistication and story in CTHD is far superior than most other martial art movies at that time. Most of the other Hong Kong martial art movies at that time was more into the actions than caring about the story telling or character study. Even if they did they characters are mostly card board cut out.

Watched crouching tiger... it was OK, not worth a second viewing.

Movie title was misleading, there were no tigers nor dragons.
