I wish we still had Hakeem. If his stats in 1994 translated to this year, we'd be in a better position.

Lin is still young, but i must admit I am somewhat dissapointed so far. I really thought his upside was way higher than Dragic. Now it seems like his upside would be the current Dragic.

You know, I believe if there weren't any outrageous Lin only fans here boosting this guy ridiculously high, then you wouldn't have an equal amount trying to tear the guy down. It is a natural reaction to the non-sensible discussions that go on around here because at times I have to catch myself before reacting to such craziness. Treat the guy like a human and maybe we can discuss a Rockets player, he doesn't play like a star type player right now and making him out to be is making some people look silly and you are embarrassing me as a Rockets fan. I have been lurking on this board for years and I wanted to join when we finally got a superstar (Harden) but c'mon with all these every other Lin this, Lin that post.

Though i believe you're right about LOF , but I've seen people prop up Dragic before the season like he was the second coming of Nash and heard a few people say Parsons Defense is Elite . Everybody has expectations for their fav Player

Shoot i Said that T.Jones can become as good as prime C.Bosh:)

(Just ignore some people, LOL I got about 10 people on my ignore List:grin:)

You can't show it because you have been exposed as an id**t.

    If his 94 stats translated.

Watched DMO play in D-League in some video, one day he will be a All-Star. Now, label me MOF (Montejunas Only Fan), LOL!

The problem is a bunch of different things. Great the dude shot an air ball...ive seen Kobe shoot i believe 3 of them in either is 1st or 2nd yr with the lakers. AND NO A-Holes i am not comparing him to Kobe...all I am saying if Kobe can do it and be one of the best, then Lin can still be a good player. The problem comes with coaching the backcourt. Mchale has had one of the worst times any person could ever deal with off the court. As much as I never wanted them to hire him...for them to fire him now would just be cold. We had just won 7 games in row and now we are losing. We are a 9th-10th place team...we were never supposed be real good. Harden and Lin were doing ok for a bit, but they have not learned to play together. It is so annoying to watch Lin hand it off as soon as he crosses mid-court and not try to make plays...but i do not think that is all his choice. It reminds me of Maloney and Drexler days...the only difference was Matt sucked handling the ball but could make an open shot. Lin needs to create his own shot...oh and Harden shoots the ball very well when he is open. Something simple to fix...goes to coaching. And for god sakes put D'mo in the game. Lets see what he can do now and not keep him on the bench for another 2 yrs. We have lost 8 of the last 9...F it!

Just curious - why do you bold the names in your post? Got too much time at hand?

What's funny is I went through every word of your post trying to find a name you missed to bold. And I couldn't find any! Good job there...

This guy's saying I brought up Goran's numbers last year out arbitrarily on my debate with torocan. If you can read at all, follow that thread of discussion. You'll see that I was talking about Goran's performance from last year from the very beginning.

Yes. But what's likelier? Him or Goran?

I'm a believer that Goran would've put up the same numbers this year from last if he were on this team.

You actually seem to be the one who can't read not me. I have explained VERY clearly how I exposed you, I'm not gonna waste my time to do it again - maybe you should be the one to go back and read what I said. It doesn't matter you were taking about Goran's performance from the get-go; it does not mean what I said was incorrect.

I don't know why I bother with you, talking to you is a complete waste of time.

Dude seriously? I usually try and stay away from these debates... but what is the point of you posting that, besides exposing yourself?

I don't understand what you mean by that. A couple of days ago there was someone talking about measuring who would post most in this thread after a rocket win/loss and we were trying to guage that.

it's not a fair comparison to use Dragic's numbers from last year versus Lin's this year. that's an apples to oranges comparison. a reasonable comparison is comparing their numbers this year or alternatively comparing their numbers last year, but using dragic's stats last year (his best year) versus lin this year (his worst year) doesn't make sense.
