http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...mith-being-investigated-on-charges-of-assault NBA: Denver's J.R. Smith Being Investigated on Charges of Assault J.R. Smith continues to prove himself a thug. Time after time, Smith is found in trouble with the law, but this time Smith could find himself behind bars for the second time in his career. Denver Police have re-opened an assault investigation of J.R. Smith after he allegedly choked a non-NBA player during a pick-up game at the Pepsi Center in early August. The main reason the Denver Police are re-opening the investigation is because there have been witnesses that have come fourth on the matter. I said earlier that this could result in some jail time for Smith because this is not his first encounter with the law. In early 2007, J.R. Smith was found guilty of reckless driving, an incident in which one of Smith's friends was killed.
Er, no one expected him to be an all-star. This is like making a thread celebrating PPat not making the all-star game.
Instead of talking about whether JR Smith was a thug ... How about look at his stats in Dec & Jan. 28% 3pt shot and 39% overall FG. He just chucks up a lot of shots. 3-16 tonight. Yuck. The Knicks are playing average now not because they're missing Felton. But because Smith is stinking it up.
^^^ You're right, he shot terribly tonight but Smith also had some big defensive plays tonight, especially that last one to force a Pierce turnover...

JR may not have been picked to the All-Star team, but at least Kanye tore it down last month! (That was his comeback when Kris Humphries tweeted about beating the Knicks.) Kanye's got your back, JR!
LOL, I get it...and approve! Repped for pointing out what a weak retort that was from JR (on top of him just being mentally r****ded, or at least it seems like it)
