Yes, pretty much. He is the best point guard in the universe and in Europe.

Here is my suggestion for the remaining day to the OP:

    1. Go straight to the Houston Zoo
    2. Go to the Lion section
    3. Jump in the pit and get eaten by a pack of Lions

I agree. I think Lowry / Dragic would have been way better pairing with Harden than Lin. i say lets trade lin/ 2pat plus fillers for Dragic + Gortat.

he's not the best PG in the NBA (goes without saying), but i badly want the rockets to scoop him up in free agency this offseason. A Harden-Calderon back-court would be very potent.

He really is an impressive offensive player though.

Lowry isn't better. I would take Calderon on the Rockets any day of the week.

Thread asks if Calderon is the best PG in the NBA...

    Then it makes 5 points.

Paul is mentioned as superior to Calderon in 3 of the 5 categories. He's also better at defense and winning.

So... yeah... Drummond has the better case.

Good post. I was looking through point guard stats last night, I think, and when I looked at Calderon I was amazed.

Are you for serious with this? Because no, Calderon is possibly the least impressive player offensively I've ever watched (who's not a total scrub).

Calderon is a rich man's Nash at this point in their respective careers. No defense, good shooters, dribble the air out of the ball which inflates their assist numbers.

I'm sorry, but you actually deserve a slow, painful death for thinking this is true.
