Marcus Fizer was a D-League MVP.

It sounds to me like the Rockets told him there might be a trade that'll free up playing time for him.

They can't take Pat or Morris out of the rotation if they're being shopped.

So? Would you prefer that DMo sucked while he were down in the D-League?

So our front office had no hand in the development of:

    Lowry
    Scola
    Yao
    Parsons
    Brooks
    Hayes
    Budinger
    and so on....

Wow, it's amazing how they can get so much production out of player since the organization has no clue on how to develop their young talent.

I seriously doubt that the Rockets are overly concerned if they are a laughing stop in a nation 3,000 miles away. The Rockets traded up to get Motie. They have worked with him a great deal. He will get his shot, same as Jones.

Greg Smith has played very well.

Motie loves basketball, is very competitive and just wants to play. It will be worked out.

If our PF is producing. I don't see why he couldn't be a little more patient. Now PF is our weakest position and McHale still not playing DMo and TJones. This really baffles me. If you gonna let Beverely take over TD's job, why can't you give DMo a chance.

The two guys with the most potential ( tjones and dmo) for the 4 spot dont get pt...very sad to me. I really belive they can help us significantly. Especially if they were playing from the get go.

Lowry hardly ever played in Memphis which is why he got traded here for basically Rafer Alston.

Scola was developed overseas but it still took time to implement him into the system and get him accustomed to the NBA game.

Yao still had to develop!!! Just cause you're the number one pick doesn't mean the world is given to you on a silver platter. Look at how guys like Kwame Brown, Michael Olawakandi, and Andrea Bargniani turned out.

    Brooks is playing in Sacramento

Hayes was a great defensive player that was worth more than what he was paid or given credit for.

    Budinger, ninja yes.

Regardless of your attempts to belittle these guys now, they were productive players as Rockets and the FO isn't as incompetent as you try making them out to be.

we rockets are too dumb to acknowledge that.
we will let the #1 turnover in the league SG be the PG.
Harden will be not get a mvp award this year but he will get a most TOs award .

He has beat all PG SG PF SF C in the nba in turnovers.

Yup, we must let Harden be the PG and Lin be SG.
    free dmo

Players should be developing in actual games instead of dleague. We just farming players to trade them away for draft picks

This is a good thing --> A player that WANTS to play. I wish he would have said something earlier "to rock the boat". Watching a player "play" that you are better than makes me better, how? Drafting 4 powerforwards (sign Smith) in 2 years --> 5 people plus the vets going for the same 48mins is smart, how? He is young but IF he is a star than he needs to be one. I can not see ANY true STAR sitting out a year to learn from lesser talent. I know it's about the team and all BUT he only has X amount of time as a player in the NBA and sitting out is not good for him, IMO. Maybe Royce White will return now --> White would rather stay at home than go through all this "stuff". It is all just crazy

    Stop being a fool.

FLASH21 already corrected your ignorant post, but I'd like to add a few things.

Brooks won "Most Improved Player" award as a Rocket. That's called development.

Budinger is actually a good player, he's just been injured this year.

Hayes went from an undrafted/undersized pf to one of, if not the best defensive big man in the NBA in his time as a Rocket.

Carl Landry was left off that list and is beasting for the GSW this year after developing his game as a Rocket

Goran Dragic had his breakout year under McHale after having the chance to develop his game further with the Rockets (though to be fair, he learned a lot backing up Steve Nash in PHX)

Courtney Lee developed his game playing as a Rocket and become a very coveted 2-way guard in free agency.

Clutch put it perfectly, James Harden "is a better Jeremy Lin".

Patterson and Morris were lottery picks. Morey has said both have the potential to be top 5 pick worthy.

Why can't these young players be afforded the chance to develop like Lin?

Lowry was developed in Houston not Memphis. That is why Memphis traded him for a bag of chips while Houston traded him for a guaranteed lottery pick

Scola developed his NBA game on the Rockets, that's why he improved every year for his first few seasons

Yao does count. Period. See Olawakandi and Kwami Brown, just because you were drafted #1 does not mean you do not need to be developed.

Brooks, it does not matter where he is now. The Rockets developed him into an 18 PPG scorer and a Most Improved Player then parlayed him into Goran Dragic and a number 1 pick. What he has done since is irrelevant.

Hayes was an undrafted free agent that is now one of the most respected defensive post defender in the league. Developed in Houston.

Budinger, I'm not sure who or what "nikka" is but Bud was a mid 2nd round pick that developed into a solid rotation player and sometimes starter that was traded for a mid 1st round pick

Landry, another 2nd round pick that developed with the Rockets into one of the better 6th men in the league and was traded for Kevin Martin

Parsons, glad you agree with him

Thanks for playing but you lose.
