At the very beginning of the season when Harden and Lin both player 40+ mins for a consecutive games, I tweeted to Jason Friedman to express my concerns. He kinda agreed with me and he actually asked McHale about this concern during a post practice interview. McHale replied that he would monitor but he never did. I again tweeted to Morey reminded him that we would run Harden and Lin to the ground if we kept playing them heavy min. Still I didn't see any adjustment of their mins. For Lin, fortunately, a good thing coming from his bad performance in some games is that he got rested from time to time. But Harden has never gotten any break. He must feel exhausted by now. The thing I don't understand is that Douglas can obviously play some SG role to give Harden some time on the bench to rest, but McHale didn't even play Douglas at all when Beverley started backup Lin. McHale's decision is truly is maddening.

Harden is our cornerstone and if he gets down, our season basically is over. I don't know why our coaching stuff is sacrificing the team's future for some short term benefit. I guess the coaching stuff only want to win games for their own jobs, they don't care that much if the players might get injured by heavy mins.

I would say that TD should exclusively play backup SG.

Coach said Lin needs to work on his defense more yesterday. and Lin said he watched Beverly game and learned something from him.

I'm surprised he said that Lin was still the motor of this team. He was talking in present tense.

Not sure he knows what he's talking about.

Machale doesn't want to try lot of things to prove to people he was wrong all along.

Oh I didn't see that part. It's kind of true, when Lin plays aggressive the offense looks good.

agree most of it, but harden is not a cornerstone. he is nothing but a scorer. he does not make the team better. in fact his style of play makes the team worst , interms of chemistry and teammates involvement. there is a reason okc let him go. and look at okc now , they are still on top even without our cornerstone superstar.
okc is probably laughing on our ass. " ha, our trash is houstons treasure."

i would bet that if harden goes down, we will go on a 10 game winning streak. why? everyone will be involved in the offense. no more get ready to shoot 3s cause harden is gonna pass with 3 seconds on clock.
do u know that we jack up the most last 5 seconds 3 point attempt in the nba.
people need to analyze the offense with and without harden on court. much more movement, and everyone else is much more involved.

11-34 3pt FG/FG attempted that is the game, right there. If you want to blame someone, blame the owner who wanted to change the Rockets to a high octane offense. I remember a few weeks ago, Leslie Alexander said that the Rockets will be running and gunning. I guess he didn't know that playing 9 games in 15 days will wear you out. I think the Rockets are worn out, it may take the All-Star break to rejuvenate the team.

That's just comical. How else would we play? We have no low post offense, a pg who couldn't hit a jumper if his life depended on it and a backcourt that plays no defense whatsoever. Does that sound like a team who should be slowing the game down?

Lin's defence was excellent, and I noticed the beard put up a lot more effort on defence also than earlier games. Asik and Parsons had a bad game. I was hoping to see more Greg Smith and Morris in the second half but didn't.

It's always mildly entertaining to watch the "LOFs" spazz out in post game.
Now they're so frenzied they're starting to cannibalize each other.:grin::grin:

We need some big guys who can score in the paint, and put a lot of efforts on offensive and defensive rebounds and defence. The Nuggets is far more superior in all those departments. Our coach should learn A LOT from the Nuggets.

You know Woodson is an established coach right?
